Join Marlin and Brett as they demonstrate Unitrack’s Turnouts. They’ll be sharing tips and tricks and showing you how easy it is to operate and construct your very own model train track.
Unitrack Turnouts are electric points you’ll want for your scale or engaged layout. By simply plugging in a few components, you can easily create a track that runs smoothly in a matter of minutes. It gives your temporary layouts-or even your permanent layouts-added dimensions that you’ll surely need.

Thanks fellas for the demo. I am about to buy the M1 set with the P42 Amtrak set. As soon as I can afford it, I'll be getting some turnouts.
Cheers, thank you for watching!
Aye...appreceate your candor. I am in the process of building my 1st layout ( Newbe ) and am thankful for your break down of the install details. All my gear is KATO... I am starting with a V16 track set and a V4 turnout set. My plan is to create a Wyoming and Utah scene reminencent of the era of the Big Boy with the modern effect of have two EMG DP70ACe engines on the oppisite line. Gotta long way to go but it's the journey right not just the destination! Wish me well!
You guys are the first guys in years who actually direct show how to hook everything up correctly. THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYPU 😁😁😆😆😆😆
Cheers! Thank you for watching!
Great demo
Thank you!
Great to see Marlin again, I always enjoy his train videos. Keep up the good work.
Yes, we all miss Marlin. Thanks for watching!
@@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne I miss Marlin so much. Hope he's doing well
Okay, now flip the switch/turnout off of the track that the loco is on and try to run it into the switch. I don’t think those turnouts let you run the train while it’s on one of those four sections when the turnout is set against it, right?
Correct, if there isn’t a feeder track on a section that is lined against the original mainline you won’t have power.
What cuvred make the turnout be STRAIGHT
Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean.
This was very helpful because I’m about to do my first layout I’m a newbie.
Glad it was helpful and thanks for watching!
Who needs a throttle when you can just toggle it on and off at half speed? 😛
Correct!
The "Bob and Doug MacKenzie" of model trains👍
