Brilliant video. I decided to get more into eeprom work I had the mini pro which I’ve had some success with but decided to go for the CG100 which is aimed at the automotive side and used you discount code to purchase it. Many thanks and please keep these great videos coming.

Excellent video. I have both CG100-III (bought with your code) and iProg+ Pro v.87. If it wasn't for the terrible software (half-, un- or badly translated) the Iprog+ wouldn't be half bad (if you have a reworked unit that does not burn when plugged to 12V) but without a better software it is very limited or restricted. The CG100-III is in another league compared to the iProg+ in most cases.

Great video, I wish I should have seen few months ago before I bought the chinese iProg+ V87 which had been a waste of money. There is no support or user manual for it and it hasn't read anything (OBD, keys or chips) since the day I bought it.

Vvdi is ok but I don't like that it has the same firmware for 5 years, unfortunately they updated the software several times but not the firmware. It's a bit outdated if you compare to the CGDI company at the moment. One downside to CGDI is that if you want performance you have to get both CG100 and CGpro. Even if you have to pay for the Update at CGpro, it's only 20 euros per year, so it's okay
Does the FC200 do the same thing as the CG100 ?
Totally different, FC200 is more like Ktag, eeprom and flash read from ECU/ECM for cloning or tuning.

it is a good programmer but if you have IM508 or IM 608. Its price is quite high compared to VVDI and CGDI and it is not a competitor for these programmers.

That's not true. You can write from other programmer as long as it's not crypted
However it's not as forgiving as original UPA. Original UPA is cheaper
