I love Xero shoes, I have two pairs of the HFS II. I have a question do you think as an insurance agent and real estate agent I have to dress in a button down shirt and dress pants when seeing customers or would blue jeans and a polo be good. This is a business question, I want to break the mold and dress casual but not sure if that will hurt my business

Hoping one day maybe y'all can develop a xero snake boot. I do a lot of property cleanups in snake areas and would like to get a pair that's extremely light but protective up to just below the knee. 🙂

Xeros, I love you and the one pair of shoes I own. But there is one thing I wish you would fix, and that is to offer an all black version in all your women's lines like you do for most of the men's shoes/boots. I would really love a pair of Scrambler II WPs for all weather walking to work and wearing at work, but the current women's color schemes violate work policy (needs to be solid black) Thank you.

What shoe would you recommend? My mom is now flat footed, has bunions, and has bad foot pain (from wearing arch support her whole life), and her "shoe specialist doctors" have spent months making custom insoles and they still aren't working either. She says it hurts to walk barefooted (even in the house) but I told her that's because she's worn the wrong shoes all her life and they're damaged now, and that's likely because they're weak from not being used. I guess im looking for her a pair of whichever has the thickest sole (starting out) that's still wide and flexible.
Our thickest soles will be in our hiking shoes such as the Xcursion Fusion or DayLite Hiker Fusion. For an athletic style, the 360 will offer one of the thickest. Our usual go-to style for newcomers to the brand will be our Prio. Hope that helps!

When will prio all day sr be in stock again in size 11 men’s, i have been checking for half a year. My feet hurt at work and having them would be life changing. Is there any validity to the argument: “humans aren’t meant to walk around on concrete all day and thus require cushioning in their shoes”?
We're glad that you like them! In regards to the concrete comment, humans evolved in places with packed mud that is as hard as concrete (and with rocks and twigs and pokey things that you would never want to step on).
Your muscles, ligaments, and tendons are natural springs and shock absorbers. Better than any man-made cushioning material.
And when you land with your foot underneath your body, you can engage your arch (regardless of whether you have flat feet or high arches), to give you a strong foundation.
Gotta say those mesh lows look like they tick most of the boxes for more rugged terrain. But that outsole. Come on Xero put the Michelin tread on these for wet smooth rocks. It would be my do it all shoe (minus winters up here in Manitoba -31f or -35c)

I just got the Forza Trainer. I like how the shoes feel when I work out. I have a white pair. How do I keep them clean? What do you suggest I do to keep them clean? Do you sell any type of shoe cleaning products?

I like the shoes (bought 2 pairs of Prios), but my first pairs sole came off after not even 100km of running and walking. Contacted Xero support and was told "Thanks for your email. I'm sorry the shoes are outside of our 12 month warranty period."
Considering the price, I'd expect better than this.

Which style of Xero shoe is best for competitive tennis on outdoor asphalt courts??
For court sports, we recommend our 360 shoes, which will offer excellent lateral support and they have a stickier grip too.

That’s unfortunate because I already own and tried the 360. Both outer soles wore all the way through in the toe area after only 5 weeks of daily use. If this is the best for outdoor courts I’ll be looking elsewhere.

Hi! I want to get into barefoot shoes, but i have a leg length disrepancy. Due to this i have developed plantar fascittis, achilles tendonitis, neck tendon sttainand generally a weaker left side of the body the shorter side. My physichal therapist wants me to use special shoes with one side elevated. Do you think these problems with eleiviate themselves walking barefoot in combibation with strength training? I dont want special shoes. Thanks.
All of our shoes and sandals are designed to allow the foot to move, bend and flex naturally. This means that there is no arch support, minimal if any cushioning and wider than average forefoot to allow for toe splay.

Hi Steven is there a shoe that would be ideal for someone like myself who is standing for 8hrs+ a day (with only a small amount of movement for example when getting stock or helping someone) when working for those in retail, nursing and hospitality, I am considering the likes of Altra Timp shoes as it seems most seem to favour something with lots of padding for this type of work but it goes very much against the grain of a barefoot shoe in respect of feel and minimal sole thickness although they do seem to have a wider toe box and zero lift heel, I should add I have worn deck shoes/plimsolls for 20+ years with no heel lift plus with other shoes, not these, wear a size over what I should be for more toe room but have only just discovered barefoot shoes. I am not a runner because I have never enjoyed running so this is not my concern.

Mr. Steven, what is your opininion on rocker sole shoes, and can they be a good alternative to barefoot shoes if you are walking on concrete all day.
A rocker sole promotes a heel to toe step whereas going barefoot promotes a more natural gait, landing on the midfoot or forefoot. With a thicker sole shoe, you also lose a lot of natural mobility in the foot to bend, flex, and roll on its own. Minimalist shoes can be worn on hard surfaces and we often even recommend it since it will be the fastest way to learn how to adjust your gait. I just read BtR2 and all of the runners interviewed recommend shoes with 21+mm stacks. I thought this was pretty strange coming from a book dedicated to barefoot style running… Any idea what’s going on there?
We can't speak to those recommendations directly, however we do know that that Zelen and Mesa Trail II were Eric Orton's and Chris McDougall's favorite shoes and those have stack heights of 7.5mm and 8.0mm. I would LOVE to wear the women's shoes, but the width of my feet only fit the men's shoes. So I order 6.5 in men's. As comfortable as they are, I would much rather have the options in the women's shoes. They're so pretty! Can that be made possible? Please?
I love these shoes. They have been a great addition to my healing and recovery. These are the only types of shoes I wear now. This is coming from someone who used to be able to easily fill a closet with all kinds of styles of shoes and boots. Since switching from the quantity of fashion and style to the quality of health and well-being, I'm down to 1-2 pairs at a time. Of course, I would love to have more.

Which shoe's do you recommend for sprinting on a track?
For sprints, we would recommend our Speed Force II.
I would like to see some plain neutral colors. Like tan. Without the bright colors. I really like the prios but the colors are awful. I did get som black slip resistant for work. I also like the Kona but that orange is awful looking. Need all one color. It helps with outfits.
