Hi Colleen! I’m a freelance MUA and I would recommend a light peach color to correct underneath your eyes. You can find it on Ulta but I really love the Milani supercharged Brighting eye tint because it corrects any under eye discoloration but is still lightweight so when you do put your concealer on top it doesn’t cake. I think the peach shade would fit well. I hope this helps!

I have used many color correcting products and I personally find that the color peach from that NYX Pallet helped cover my tired mommy bags under my eyes!! Hope that helps!!
I have bad bags and using function of beauty serum is the best/cheaper version of getting rid of them I've used. I used to use this stem cell 75$ version that was wonderful but they discontinued and I tried like twelve things since but the FOB version really helps but don't use it on the rest of your face. The original I used was awesome for everything but the FOB dries out my chin and forehead bad.

For the puffiness of the under eyes, just apply something cold like the ones Cassie used in Euphoria. For dark under-eyes (based on my sleepless college days lol) I used a thin layer of the yellow corrector from LA girl (you can try the Light Yellow Corrector) and then used a normal concealer on top of it. Love how big and spacious your bathroom is :)

For the puffiness of the bags under your eyes, cold compresses help so much! I either use a cold rose quartz roller, little gel filled orange slices (also cold- I have a skincare tray in my fridge lol), and sometimes a damp wash cloth I stick in the freezer for a bit. I have SEVERE everyday allergies & they affect my eyes very, very heavily, and everything cold always helps so, so much.
NICU nurse here! If anyone has a gassy baby or a baby that needs to be burped all the time, you can try tipping the milk up and down instead of shaking it. This can help prevent all those little air bubbles that can form from shaking! Keep up all the amazing work mamas❤️❤️❤️
Ugh yes with my niece (this might be common knowledge but if this helps anyone that’s great) I would be SO strict about holding the bottle upright instead of just against her tummy even when teaching her how to drink it by herself. I feel like it’s really easy to dismiss them sucking on air while drinking milk out of the bottle from it not being propped up properly & it helps so so much. If I heard her suck on the bottle & it didn’t sound right oh you best believe I snatched it. Ain’t no bubble or air sucking around here babe we fixing that little tummy right up 😂😂😂

For under eyes color correcting: I use “needles no more no more baggage” eye de-puffing gel by Dr. Brandt. I got it in a subscription bag once and love it. it’s orange tinted but actually helps physically depuff them somehow. I put it on a few minutes before my foundation on bare skin and it works magic.

Thank you for talking about how hard it is to be dismissed by medical professionals. I'm coming up on 10 months of trying to conceive and my doctors just keep telling me it's normal and they're not worried, but everyone I know conceived really fast so it's hard to feel alone in my journey. It also means that I'm just sent home and told to "keep trying" and "don't stress about it", but nothing on HOW to not stress about it. I just appreciate how much you're always open about medical stuff cus it can be really hard to suffer alone, I know you didn't struggle to conceive but I know your pregnancies were hard, and so it's nice seeing people just be open about those struggles whatever they are. On the medical talk: I'm an RN and one of the biggest things we were taught in nursing school was to ALWAYS listen to your patient. Even with pain, for example, if we have a patient who seems to be drug-seeking more than in actual pain. The patient's pain is WHAT THEY SAY IT IS. I'm so glad you were able to find a more welcoming and caring group of professionals to work with during your second pregnancy!
This is so important, especially when helping patients who are people of colour. I took a course once that went into some of the medical treatment of black and indigenous people in North America and the real life stories of some of my classmates experiences were so heartbreaking. There is systemic racism in our healthcare systems and more people need to talk about it. Thank you for bringing this up!

Almost 3 weeks ago I gave birth to my baby at 25 weeks gestation. It’s been the scariest experience, and when I first went to the doctor with labor symptoms the labor and delivery nurses I saw sent me home. A couple hours later my water broke. 🙃 Watching your NICU experience helped prepare me for my own NICU journey, which will continue for at least another 10+ weeks. Pregnancy was hard (I had hyperemesis for 4 out of the 5 months I was pregnant) and having your vlogs helped me feel like I wasn’t a failure. Thank you for sharing your journey! This is the scariest journey of my life, but I’ve felt a bit more prepared having your experience to relate to!

COLLEEN!!! For the bags themselves try the Peter Thomas Roth Instant Firm Eye cream. It’s SCARY good. It does make u feel like you have the tightest eyes known to man but it’ll take that puff and the wrinkles you might have around the eye away for a bit. Now color wise, you’re gonna wanna use a yellow or orange color. Play around with it, but that’ll cancel out the dark regardless of its shade and then go over top of it with a high coverage concealer! I LOVE U MAMAAAA

For most undereyes, a salmon/orangey color should help neutralize and cover up bags!! Even though it's not an obvious color, most eye bags are a blue/purple hue so a warm color helps cancel that out! Hope that helps ❤

Hey Colleen, makeup lover here! What I personally do for concealer and why it might be off colored is probably because of the undertone of your skin and the concealer undertone is different. Personally going into Sephora and getting shade matched helps a lot, and I love doing some brow gel for when I wanna do the “fluffy brow”. But if you wanna color correct just make sure to use that before foundation and concealer so it doesn’t poke through. I love you and you’re doing great, your videos make my day 🥰
You seem to have purple bags with neutral to warm undertones. Peachy pinky correctors are the best for that. My current fav is the Revlon ColorStay skin awakened concealer in the shade Universal brightener. As far as the fluffy brow Trend I would suggest a brow gel to stick up your brows. Some of the best r the benefit 24-hour brow Setter, the makeup by Mario clear brow gel, and the got2b hair gel on a spoolie. Just stick them up and then fill in

For the bags under your eyes, it's best to use a hydrating concealer. Anything light reflecting will help go disguise the bags. Another option would be a cream. I use Eight Saints All In Eye Cream on Amazon. Put it in the fridge and when you apply it, it helps to reduce the appearance of puffiness 💞 keep rockin momma! 😉

*I used to work at Ulta & Sephora* Colleen for what you’re wanting to do, you’d want a color corrector. (specifically a peach or a red tone) L.A Girl has super cheap and GOOD color correctors (very pigmented, you only need a tiny bit). What you would do is dab a small amount on under your eyes and then apply your concealer on top. * Also your concealer should be your shade, if you get a lighter shade for under your eyes it will wash you out instead of bringing brightness to the face like people attempt to do. If you want to add brightness, you could pop a highlighter or subtle white eyeshadow on your inner corners. Hope I helped!!

Colleen, you were talking about having an incredibly heavy period at the 10 minute mark of the video and as a woman with an incredibly heavy period, i wanted to let you know what works really well for me. I use the OB ultra tampons (purple ob box). I like these because they're actually thick and will hold the blood. I noticed that a lot of tampon brands will have bigger tampons, but their tampons are still thin, OB is my savior for that. Then i wear a pad underneath for extra protection and heavier flows. I use and highly recommend the Always night time pad. They're super absorbent and cover the whole area I hope you or anyone else with a heavy flow finds this helpful

Girl you inspire me on the daily. I’ve had my primary doctor for a long time now and anytime I come to her for something the answer always is “it’s because of you being overweight”. She even made me go see a doctor about gastric bypass surgery. I found out I would go through all that awful surgery and my life after so difficult they said I was only likely to lose about 70 pounds. So I told them forget it I will do it myself. I lost 80 pounds in 2 years and still when I see this doctor she never once said good on you for that weight loss - she just tells me I need to lose more. I have found out I have bad acid reflux all my life because I was born with a small hole in my esophagus. I only learned that after I was sent to a gastroenterologist before I was cleared for the gastric bypass (which again I didn’t get). Years she told me it was because I was overweight. I feel like I could actually be dying and wouldn’t even know because my doctor will not send me for testing because everything that’s wrong with me is because of my weight. It’s so frustrating. I’m thinner than I have been in 20 years. I’ve kept her as my primary for a few reasons like having to change my other doctors like pain management if I change my primary. Mostly because I just don’t want to deal. Now I only go when she makes me come in for physicals like 2 times a year. If I get sick I will go to cvs minute clinic before her. So I get what you were saying about your first obgyn. I need to light that fire under my ass to find a good doctor for me that cares and wants to know why what happens to me happens. Thanks for always sharing your stories for us. I appreciate you. ❤️

Hi Colleen, there are a lot of products you can use for under eye bags. One of them is the Ole Henriksen eye cream or Replenix Tinted Brightening Eye Cream. Now for color correcting use a peachy concealer after using an eye cream then use a concealer. I have very very bad eye bags so I know the struggle and the most important thing is to treat it and if you can maybe see a dermatologist because they have treatments for dark circles and eye bags.
For dark circles, use an orange or yellow concealer underneath your regular concealer. It will cancel out the bluish, gray undertones of dark circles. For your eyebrows, you should get them laminated. It will give you the fluffy look and save you time in the morning. All you have to do is brush them up and out. They should stay laminated for a few weeks depending on how stubborn your brows are. I have stick straight eyebrow hairs that grow downwards and nothing keeps them up (aside from the g2b glue gel), so lamination usually stays about 2-3 weeks for me. Hope this helps! ❤️

NICU nurse here! If anyone has a gassy baby or a baby that needs to be burped all the time, you can try tipping the milk up and down instead of shaking it. This can help prevent all those little air bubbles that can form from shaking!

Ugh yes with my niece (this might be common knowledge but if this helps anyone that’s great) I would be SO strict about holding the bottle upright instead of just against her tummy even when teaching her how to drink it by herself. I feel like it’s really easy to dismiss them sucking on air while drinking milk out of the bottle from it not being propped up properly & it helps so so much. If I heard her suck on the bottle & it didn’t sound right oh you best believe I snatched it. Ain’t no bubble or air sucking around here babe we fixing that little tummy right up 😂😂😂

For under eyes color correcting: I use “needles no more no more baggage” eye de-puffing gel by Dr. Brandt. I got it in a subscription bag once and love it. it’s orange tinted but actually helps physically depuff them somehow. I put it on a few minutes before my foundation on bare skin and it works magic.

for any dark eye bags, peach or salmon colored correctors are usually the best corrector shade to use. you could also maybe try using a concealer a shade or two lighter than the one you have now. love youuuuuuu!
Thank you for talking about how hard it is to be dismissed by medical professionals. I'm coming up on 10 months of trying to conceive and my doctors just keep telling me it's normal and they're not worried, but everyone I know conceived really fast so it's hard to feel alone in my journey. It also means that I'm just sent home and told to "keep trying" and "don't stress about it", but nothing on HOW to not stress about it. I just appreciate how much you're always open about medical stuff cus it can be really hard to suffer alone, I know you didn't struggle to conceive but I know your pregnancies were hard, and so it's nice seeing people just be open about those struggles whatever they are. I'm an RN and one of the biggest things we were taught in nursing school was to ALWAYS listen to your patient. Even with pain, for example, if we have a patient who seems to be drug-seeking more than in actual pain. The patient's pain is WHAT THEY SAY IT IS.
I'm so glad you were able to find a more welcoming and caring group of professionals to work with during your second pregnancy!
This is so important, especially when helping patients who are people of colour. I took a course once that went into some of the medical treatment of black and indigenous people in North America and the real life stories of some of my classmates experiences were so heartbreaking. There is systemic racism in our healthcare systems and more people need to talk about it.

Almost 3 weeks ago I gave birth to my baby at 25 weeks gestation. It’s been the scariest experience, and when I first went to the doctor with labor symptoms the labor and delivery nurses I saw sent me home. A couple hours later my water broke. 🙃 Watching your NICU experience helped prepare me for my own NICU journey, which will continue for at least another 10+ weeks. Pregnancy was hard (I had hyperemesis for 4 out of the 5 months I was pregnant) and having your vlogs helped me feel like I wasn’t a failure. Thank you for sharing your journey! This is the scariest journey of my life, but I’ve felt a bit more prepared having your experience to relate to!

COLLEEN!!! For the bags themselves try the Peter Thomas Roth Instant Firm Eye cream. It’s SCARY good. It does make u feel like you have the tightest eyes known to man but it’ll take that puff and the wrinkles you might have around the eye away for a bit. Now color wise, you’re gonna wanna use a yellow or orange color. Play around with it, but that’ll cancel out the dark regardless of its shade and then go over top of it with a high coverage concealer! I LOVE U MAMAAAA

For most undereyes, a salmon/orangey color should help neutralize and cover up bags!! Even though it's not an obvious color, most eye bags are a blue/purple hue so a warm color helps cancel that out! Hope that helps ❤

Make up artist here 🙋🏼♀️ Bags under your eyes are usually some version of a shade of blue. So you need an orange colored color corrector. It’s like tattoo coverup is always orange colored bc usually the ink has blue ish undertones. Hope this helps! 🤍

Hey Colleen, makeup lover here! What I personally do for concealer and why it might be off colored is probably because of the undertone of your skin and the concealer undertone is different. Personally going into Sephora and getting shade matched helps a lot, and I love doing some brow gel for when I wanna do the “fluffy brow”. But if you wanna color correct just make sure to use that before foundation and concealer so it doesn’t poke through. I love you and you’re doing great, your videos make my day 🥰

You seem to have purple bags with neutral to warm undertones. Peachy pinky correctors are the best for that. My current fav is the Revlon ColorStay skin awakened concealer in the shade Universal brightener. As far as the fluffy brow Trend I would suggest a brow gel to stick up your brows. Some of the best r the benefit 24-hour brow Setter, the makeup by Mario clear brow gel, and the got2b hair gel on a spoolie. Just stick them up and then fill in

For the bags under your eyes, it's best to use a hydrating concealer. Anything light reflecting will help go disguise the bags. Another option would be a cream. I use Eight Saints All In Eye Cream on Amazon. Put it in the fridge and when you apply it, it helps to reduce the appearance of puffiness 💞 keep rockin momma! 😉

Colleen for what you’re wanting to do, you’d want a color corrector. (specifically a peach or a red tone) L.A Girl has super cheap and GOOD color correctors (very pigmented, you only need a tiny bit). What you would do is dab a small amount on under your eyes and then apply your concealer on top.
* Also your concealer should be your shade, if you get a lighter shade for under your eyes it will wash you out instead of bringing brightness to the face like people attempt to do. If you want to add brightness, you could pop a highlighter or subtle white eyeshadow on your inner corners.

Colleen, you were talking about having an incredibly heavy period at the 10 minute mark of the video and as a woman with an incredibly heavy period, i wanted to let you know what works really well for me.
I use the OB ultra tampons (purple ob box). I like these because they're actually thick and will hold the blood. I noticed that a lot of tampon brands will have bigger tampons, but their tampons are still thin, OB is my savior for that.
Then i wear a pad underneath for extra protection and heavier flows. I use and highly recommend the Always night time pad. They're super absorbent and cover the whole area

Girl you inspire me on the daily. I’ve had my primary doctor for a long time now and anytime I come to her for something the answer always is “it’s because of you being overweight”. She even made me go see a doctor about gastric bypass surgery. I found out I would go through all that awful surgery and my life after so difficult they said I was only likely to lose about 70 pounds. So I told them forget it I will do it myself. I lost 80 pounds in 2 years and still when I see this doctor she never once said good on you for that weight loss - she just tells me I need to lose more. I have found out I have bad acid reflux all my life because I was born with a small hole in my esophagus. I only learned that after I was sent to a gastroenterologist before I was cleared for the gastric bypass (which again I didn’t get). Years she told me it was because I was overweight. I feel like I could actually be dying and wouldn’t even know because my doctor will not send me for testing because everything that’s wrong with me is because of my weight. It’s so frustrating. I’m thinner than I have been in 20 years. I’ve kept her as my primary for a few reasons like having to change my other doctors like pain management if I change my primary. Mostly because I just don’t want to deal. Now I only go when she makes me come in for physicals like 2 times a year. If I get sick I will go to cvs minute clinic before her. So I get what you were saying about your first obgyn. I need to light that fire under my ass to find a good doctor for me that cares and wants to know why what happens to me happens. Thanks for always sharing your stories for us. I appreciate you. ❤️

Hi Colleen, there are a lot of products you can use for under eye bags. One of them is the Ole Henriksen eye cream or Replenix Tinted Brightening Eye Cream. Now for color correcting use a peachy concealer after using an eye cream then use a concealer. I have very very bad eye bags so I know the struggle and the most important thing is to treat it and if you can maybe see a dermatologist because they have treatments for dark circles and eye bags.

I use a light orange to cover my baggy eyes. I got it in a kit like yours. It makes so much difference once I’m finish with my makeup!

For dark circles, use an orange or yellow concealer underneath your regular concealer. It will cancel out the bluish, gray undertones of dark circles. For your eyebrows, you should get them laminated. It will give you the fluffy look and save you time in the morning. All you have to do is brush them up and out. They should stay laminated for a few weeks depending on how stubborn your brows are. I have stick straight eyebrow hairs that grow downwards and nothing keeps them up (aside from the g2b glue gel), so lamination usually stays about 2-3 weeks for me. Hope this helps! ❤️
