- Dafydd Davies from Wales talks about making shepherds crooks using rams horn and buffalo horn. he shows the different whistles he makes from horn and polymer. he able to manipulate cow horn and Jacob horn using a combination of traditional techniques and modern equipment . Dafydd Davies is a renowned name in stickmaking throughout the UK and Europe. also know by D D Stickmaker, Dafydd has even made crooks for Prince Charles and Princes William and Harry in the past. Its actually after midnight when we made this video! I was late calling in to collect the stick that was bound for America

Great video! Saw another where he was being interviewed all in Welsh. I can finally understand what he was talking about.
I think I saw that one too and showed his farm. It was nice to get a look at his workshop and the stuff he makes.
I got a laugh when Dafydd pointed up at the Jacob ram's skull and said 'i used to know that ram' lol
