7:33 Hey, I have the Wavestation SR. Great sounds. It was £150. Very underused by me because I like to twiddle controls. I should hook it up permanently.
Great list! Would love for you to do this again. If you put the items in the description, could help with someone like me taking notes and finding items.
There is a free DSP emulation which allows you to run the actual firmware from the hardware for Waldorf micro Q, XT (beta), and Virus ti with more synths coming like NL2 and others.
I had already invested in cheap hand percussions and even in my room they sound better and fuller than any VSTs. Plus 1 on the lexicon. I recently grabbed a second one for my studio and paid about $190 for it. I had one in my live rig and paid much less for it years ago.
Not sure if you are asking me or in general. I have used the Version 1 of the Mackie HR824 since they came out. I have them set up in surround in my studio but have never used them in surround on a project. They can be affordable used. This is just what I am currently using. I also have an old pair of TOA ME265, but they are not powered. The Mackies are bi-amped. As a reference monitor, they are fine, and I am used to them. There are a lot of choices new and used. I'm sure other folks can help you with suggestions...
Yamaha digital desks are great. I have the O2R and still use it to run synths/samplers/drum machines through into logic via FireWire Motu 828 mk2’s. Works like a charm. Sounds great :)
just picked up a hohner pianet t for £700, sounds like a fender rhodes and a wurlitzer had a baby, very underpriced considering the price of wurlis and rhodes (£2k-4k)
I was hoping for the korg prologue, seldom will people talk about it, 16 voices analogue and digital, please target this in a video as seldom will people talk about it, I really don't know why

Is the Yamaha multitrack

I like mine. Not fun to edit from the front panel, but affordable.

Appreciate this comment, and where appropriate, I did go back and add chapters to all my episodes.
Seconded!
Excellent and thoughtful content. Needs more subs so I subbed!
Thanks for the comment.
Subscribed for the knowledge and relaxing voice.
Same. Minimal click-bait opinions here.
Thanks, I appreciate the comments and support.
I can second the Yamaha 01v96i I also owned the 01v96 which is also great but the "i" version has a USB interface built in! Top device sounds great.
Thanks, and I agree. A great little mixer, with great sound, and a lot of features for the price.
Thank you Jeff
My pleasure.

Any suggestions on a pair of good monitor speakers for mastering?

You should check out the Kali monitors, hard to beat for the money, go for the co-axial mid-tops if you can.

That's a lot of gear... Thanks for the comment.

I missed an opportunity 30 years ago to buy a mint suitcase Rhodes... Every time I see one now, I kick myself! ;-( Thanks for sharing.
now you can imitate Keith Emerson playing Nutrocker

I'll add it to my list. Thanks for the comment.
Not as sexy perhaps as the bargain synth list, but arguably more useful.
+1 on the cheap hand percussion -- really does make a difference
Glad it's not just me on the percussion nod. Thanks for the comment.
