@rickwilliamson9248 Hey... just became he's had some crummy roles doesn't mean that he's a bad actor. He did good as a live action Beast in the X-Men movies...and his Rothbart in Barbie: Swan Lake was good, too... but Frasier Crane is definitely his crowning achievement in acting.
Roz was my favourite character, Peri played her to perfection, great to see her back in this new series, even if it is just for 1 episode. As a huge Peri fan, would love to see her back in more episodes :)

Remember in season 6 when Roz and Frasier agreed that if they were still single 40 years later they'd marry and/or kill each other? they have about 15 years left.
I actually like the idea of them together. Frasier can be lofty and haughty a lot and Roz brings him back down to earth. I think they complement each other well.

And this, to me, is EXACTLY what made Frasier so great!!! It was a comedy, and it was really funny, but every now and then there'd be a scene like this. Something touching, warm, and something that often made you reflect on a scene in your own life. Honestly they would handle some alarmingly mature content at times, and they would do it with consummate ease! Divorce (and the effect it has on parent-child relationships), unplanned pregnancies, manipulative spouses, true friendships, etc. This show really was one of the greats... Let's hope this reboot lives up to expectations!!!

When you say David’s first name was Martin, are you talking about Niles and Daphne’s son? If so, that’s not true. They named him after the show’s co-creator David Angell, who died in the September 11th terrorist attacks. It was a tribute.
To name the bar after the actor who played Martin is class. And just look at all the christmas decorations,,, so many from the original Frasier christmas shows,, the giant reindeer used to be over the fireplace the over size candles,, used to be near the main window,, so many easter eggs here, wonderful.

I don't have Paramount so haven't seen any of the new series, but from the trailers and other clips I've watched on RUclips, it doesn't look anything like as good as the original Frasier. I hope I'm wrong about that.
