Very nice, man! I wanted to ask something. If you were to buy your first (and probably only) acoustic electric, would you go for this Ibanez or would you rather get the best 6-stringer you can for the same money or even 100 usd more? I'm asking because I'm travelling to the USA and was gonna get a 6-string one until I saw this one.

I got this one purely because it was the only steel strung acoustic 7 string I could find at the time, and have grown to love it. I'd say if you want a 7, get this. If you have to choose between a 7 and a 6, knowing you can get a slightly better 6 string for the same money or a much better one for a bit more, and that 7th string would be missed, get this. If you can do without it, and want a solid wood 6 string that will have a better voice for the extra cash, get something else instead!
The Ibanez is certainly a decent piece of kit, but there are better guitars out there for the same money, just none that have that extra string.

Thanks, even though I have an electric 7 stringed one, I don't really know how much I'd use the 7th string in this one. I just play on my free time, but since I always owned a 7 string electric I thought this would be cool. Does it bother you when playing songs where you dont use the 7th string?
Nah, just use it when whatever Im playing would benefit from it, or occasionally to make a chord which would be far too stretchy on a 6 a lot more compact. Its tempting to drop it down to A and put a low drone underneath stuff a lot though...
