    Thanks for making and sharing these Ben. So good to follow, and loved your commentary. I had an excellent stay at Cascade Hut on March 5, which might have been close to when you were there. Your stay, with that meal, must have been something very special.

      Thanks Dave. Think I was there March 23 roughly. It's a great spot, bad weather but was good meant I got it to myself!

    An impressive effort. I have walked the terrain from The Twins to Mt. Wills hut. The day we walked from Cleve Cole Hut to Mt.Wills hut was a ball breaker!.

    Such an awesome piece of work Ben, love your journey. Can I ask what solar system you used to charge your various devices please mate?

      Thanks Peter. I just used two Anker 10,000 power banks , kept the phone on aeroplane mode, etc

      @@anothertravelflog All good I wasn't having a go at ya just letting you know some info. I'm going to do a snow hike up to Mt Bogong later this month...see how that goes.

      @@OutandAboutwithTrev all good, you made me think where I got that from , but I'm away for another month so I can't double check if I read it in that book so I can blame the author haha. I'm doing the Aawt again in spring , I'll correct myself if I make it that far then! Enjoy bogong, great part of the world

      Thanks Rumple. I'm not tracking my walk. I'm pretty much following the GPX file taken from trail hiking.com.au, I have that embedded on maps.me. Also have the guthooks app, but that's not much chop

    Travelling well Ben. The Benambra diversion looks a bit soul destroying - I'll be popping some gels in our drop for that one!

    • @anothertravelflog
      @anothertravelflog  3 года назад +1

      Lots of soul destroying for the entirity of Vic haha. You were after the Beloka log road condition on Facebook weren't you? I only came down the last few KMs of it, I'd definitely drive it in my 2wd, personal choice but. I came down deep creek track...not driveable in 2wd..

    No Jonnies Top? and no Twins?

    • @anothertravelflog
      @anothertravelflog  3 года назад +1

      G'day Trevor, I'm done, 30 days. It's closed from Johnnie's top, so no point going up there, had access to a private hut in the valley below so diverted through there . The twins, was a bitter cold front that morning, so I took the longer jeep track option below, rather than freezing walking on top of the twins

      Ben jones A huge congratulations from me Ben. That is a fast crossing of the Alps. I’ve enjoyed watching your footage which brought back great memories for me. Love to have a chat with you some time. Fantastic journey mate. Are you relieved or saddened to be back in civilisation-or mixed emotions?

    • @anothertravelflog
      @anothertravelflog  3 года назад +1

      Thanks Trevor. Relieved to finish, but feel like it's not completely over until I get back to Melbourne tomorrow morning. I wonder if the bug will be gone now or not. I had half plans of doing all these big walks around the world, but not sure my feet are physically up to it after this, see how they recover in the coming weeks...
