The only reason I use them so much is cus they don’t go bad! Like I can just store a couple dozen in my car and then all the actual good food that my campsite people want goes directly to them.

The cheese tortellini are pretty decent imo. If you want a bad one go for the fettuccine or veggie crumbles MREs. For a good one chilli mac is a classic beloved by almost everyone that’s had to eat em. Also nice choice on sound track, it feels like you reached into my favorite ost playlist and pulled out the best tracks!

Oooo in my opinion, the MREs that were primarily a pasta dish were the best! One of the guys I led in my squad for some reason loved the grossest of the options (like the pizza or cheeseburger... 😨) so he always managed to trade and I could get something like turkey tetrazzini. This brought back memories!
