    Cheers Buddy! Ya know what?, I keep finding new features as well. Of course the support is second to none!
    Now, I am wondering what MCE could do with a B17...?Hmmmm...;)

    Video is over a year old but really enjoyed it. Been watching a few of your videos to see how RC4 and MCE interact to see if I want to pull the trigger. I mostly fly props but will eventually get into jets as I get more acquainted with the whole flight sim thing. But anyways are all those radio comm sounds going on in the background RC4 talking to AI aircraft of just built in sounds RC4 integrates to improve realism? But man your pc specs must be through the roof, when I have AI aircraft that high taxing and landing at those busy airports is a stuttering mess and i have a decent midend machine. Will have to check out more of your vids.

      Thanks for watching. The RC4 is chatter specific to the region in which you are flying. RC4 knows what's on the taxiway/runway and will direct you to give way or follow as appropriate. You can hear that in a few of my videos. In the air RC4 does not talk to AI traffic you see, only on the ground. My PC is about 5 yrs old, i7 960 o.c. at 4.2, GTX 580, 12 GB 7-7-7 RAM at 1600 Mhz. So its a bit slow compared to modern kit. FSX is set up as per NickN's guide on Simforums, without that it would crawl!!! Cheers.

      Thanks for the reply. It looks like I am leaning more towards RC4 than PFE, but will wait till I can afford MCE first. Have you ever run into issues landing where the AI traffic was in the way because it was not directed? Just seems that would be a problem with the all that traffic. I am always landing/flying in a ghost town though so not sure it would affect me.

      clambake28 Yes RC4 is a good estimation of real world ATC, without the hassle of those pay as you fly online ATC sites with controllers who are only "awake" at certain times! If AI traffic is in conflict with your approach, RC4 will give you a "go around". A few of my movies demonstrate it, e.g. the Corfu approach with the 727 movie. Also, if your approach is incorrect RC4 will send you around. Furthermore, you can always tell RC4 (verbally, or have your MCE/RC4 first officer call a go around for you....just use the RC4 on screen menu and the magic of MCE with RC4 goes to work!!) If your PC can handle high AI traffic, RC4 will keep them out of your chillie on approach.

      David Herky awesome thanks, and my apologies I should of just gotten through the rest of your videos and all my questions would have been answered. Time to start hitting play... Thanks again.

      clambake28 No problem, hope you enjoy the videos. I try to demonstrate what is possible with the software I use. MCE and RC4 has been the turning point for me. Adds a creative element to the simulation and makes for a more realistic experience. Cheers.

    Amazing Video, purchased MCE about a year ago and I am still loving it.Used FS2 Crew for FSX Default 737 before I even knew what MCE was. FS2 Crew is a very good add-on,but it does not offer the immersion that MCE offers.Being able to interact with ATC and have a Co-pilot to help with the aircraft,and also with ATC,is epic. Also purchased the PMDG aircraft about 3 weeks ago,what an amazing Aircraft.Thx for the video and great job once again,

    Digital Aviator, there is no way to lower the volume in RC4, the ATC. It's way too loud and very annoying, so you either turn it off or put up with it! The "chatter" can be switched off though. Thanks for commenting.

    Thanks for your kind words. With MCE there are so many ways to add that realistic edge to simulated flights. 1st class aircraft models and 1st class add ons are good ways to suspend disbelief!

    I plan the route in "Plan G", which is what you see. Also PMDG have a list of Aussie routes on their site, which transfer nicely to the NGX FMC.

    The map you show in the beginning of the video with the waypoints, what is it called and where can I download it?

    Hi David, great video, can you tell me how you added the cabin crew announcement and how did you get the first officer to request boarding?

    • @Flight231
      @Flight231  9 лет назад

      Its all Multi Crew Experience!
      multicrewxp.com/index.html
      Complete voice interaction with your first officer, cabin crew and ATC...Either native FSX ATC or Radar Contact v4 which is what I use!
      You can add just about any voice/sound you like. Just use their VoxScript...Easy as pie!
      Its actually me that's asking for boarding, this triggers the flow!
      Check out the MCE site also on AVSIM.
      I don't work for them, I just admire expert software and great programmers!

    The most superior sim after all these years?

    why did you take tail wind landing ? Little bit lost speed on final short and flare was too long . Thanks for vid Sir , cheers .

    • @Flight231
      @Flight231  9 лет назад +1

      Thanks happy you enjoyed the movie! The wind veered from 045 at 6 at 500' and above, to the 7 knot tail wind below 370'. Don't know if that ever happens at Alice but the Tower in FSX certainly has no idea about winds shifting in the last 500'! LOL! The long flare was probably due to the tail wind! Ha great little sim isn't it!
