Just added the smoothing out of ergo mode. One question I have is : is it possible to use the watt bike on ROUVY and use gears ? At the minute I can only use it in ergo mode. Thanks 🙏
Not done it in the app itself but I’d say no, use the gears and ride it like you would in real life if you are just wanting to go for a time/experience the gradient. ERG is mainly for structured workouts where all you care about is hitting a power for a given time period.
Awesome cool. Wasn’t sure if you had to have it on erg mode to get the real time gradients that’s all. Really need to work out how to use this machine! 😂😂😂
Useful video. Got the new Proton the other day and some of the content here definitely applies to that model too.
Great advice. WB cranks are indeed fixed at 170. Agree about the saddle.
Thanks for the really helpful tips. I’m waiting for my Wattbike to be delivered and will certainly be putting your advice into practice.
Thanks Mike - good info and tips.
Great tips and advice. Thank you

You should be able to, I’ve not used rouvy but you should be able to turn off erg and then use the buttons on the right lever to change gear!
@ I’ll give it a go tomorrow. Thanks for the reply
Workouts on rouvy are erg only
Not long had a Wattbike Atom, do i need erg mode on if using the hub app to climb Alp d’huez in the climbing training part of the app?
