    Here's a proper editing question: If I knew exactly how many frames I wanted a clip to slide forward or back in the timeline, how could I do it? I like to think there's a field somewhere that I can just punch the number in.

    • @EliasSarantopoulos
      @EliasSarantopoulos  5 месяцев назад

      You can punch in your time in the Timecode inside the Timeline, upper left hand side. 😀👋

    • @bbrigham6974
      @bbrigham6974 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@EliasSarantopoulos Thank you, but unless I'm misunderstanding, your suggestion will move the cursor, not the clip (track). I'd like to be able to slide a given track by a specific integer.

      @@bbrigham6974 So you want to move the entire layer in time? Correct? If so, I am suggest use keyboard shorts to get there. Hope that helps. 👋

    I can't get the effects I want where I want because the timeline moves frame by frame, how can I turn it off?

    • @EliasSarantopoulos
      @EliasSarantopoulos  11 месяцев назад

      Not sure exactly the issue but did you try zooming in or out of time line? Maybe that will help. 😀

    Anyone know if there’s a keyboard shortcut to go directly to the next layer without scrolling the timeline bar?

    • @EliasSarantopoulos
      @EliasSarantopoulos  10 месяцев назад

      Yes you can, dial in the selection of a layer by using the numeric keypad on your keyboard. For instance, if I press the number 5 on the numeric keyboard it will select layer 5 on the timeline. If I press the number 12 on the numeric keyboard it will select layer 12 on the timeline. Hope this helps. 😊👋
