Just purchased this kit from CJ Pony. Scott Drake kit and so easy to install. Was a little unsure of the wiring so got the Scott Drake PDF instructions, So easy. They look fantastic now and so much brighter! Hard to believe this whole kit was under $50. Also, replaced the lens and gaskets too. Highly recommended if you don't want LED's and the cost with them. Oh, the three multi-colored wires on one side are if you are hooking them up for sequencial, different wiring on those on one side. Thanks Cheers from Motown/Dearborn.
This really is a great video. One thin I would consider though is getting rid of that disturbing music in the beackgrund. It really would make it much easier to focus on the instructions.
Good video Bill. However, I saw wires left over coming out of the housing. Where do they go? Hopefully there is a wiring diagram? Also, how many 12v wires can feed all three bulbs with over heating the original 1 bulb wire? Thanks, any feedback welcome.
Prior to me ordering new bezels; your video indicates the Scott Drake Bezels Do Not match up to the tail light panel. At 7:05 there is a distinct gap. Yes, the nuts are finger tight. but there shouldn't be that much of a gap. Are they like the Running Horse emblems, that don't match the fender curve?
what about the ground with the spade? where do we put that? can anyone point me in the direction of a wiring diagram or a little bit better wiring instructions?
Man that takes me back to when i had my 68 and working on the wiring harness all up and down the car to make sure my rear lights work

I Really enjoy your videos Bill ..I think it's time you hit them up for a raise!

You'll want to look at TLK12. That is a kit for LED Sequential Taillights on 67-68 Mustangs, though it does not include Taillight Bodies (TLBC).
The noise in background make this video unwatchable.

Can a sequential signal light be installed with a kit like this?

I orderd a new panel with old bezels and also have the gap. Did you find your answer? I don’t want to buy new bezels if the problem doesn’t go away :)

On a 66 can you pull the bulb straight out like that as well? Mine doesn't seem to be coming out but it could just need some more force
You have to push in and turn. Depending age they can break pretty easily so be careful.
Great video but that HIDEOUS background music made me want to cut my ears off!! Totally unnecessary and VERY distracting.
You’d think CJ pony would at least provide the screws for the lense 🤦♂️ such a lazy company
