🇺🇸Elon Musk is a national hero and the liberal biased press should start treating him like one, giving him credit instead of constantly criticizing him. Because of Boeing’s continued failure with plane crashes and doors coming off Boeing planes in the sky and the Boeing Starliner unable to fly back the two astronauts it’s Elon Musk coming to the rescue of the stranded astronauts to get them back to earth using one of his starships spacecrafts. Elon Musk is a modern day Tesla or Albert Einstein. Remember, excellence is never an accident.

Not even close. Boeing says their Starliner is safe to return those two astronauts. It is NASA looking at all the telemetry when it went up and made the decision to call SpaceX. The irony is that NASA Director Bill Nelson tried his hardest to discredit and decertify SpaceX while Nelson was still a Senator and then he tried again after Biden tapped him to run NASA. Now he has to eat crow and beg Elon to save his career.

Being from Seattle, Boeing was our local giant and was reveered... but they killed themselves when they moved their HQ out of Seattle... they seperated the decisions from the engineers... instead of an engineering company they became a stock profit mining company, started outsourcing everything and relying on bribing government bureaucrats for contracts. It has been beyond tragic watching the slow suicide of an American Icon... I only pray someone can step in and save them...first step would be to fire all current executives, move HQ back to Seattle and rebuild the engineering from the ground up. I can only hope.

And then we've arrived at corrupt broken indebted 3rd world country no longer with the former trade advantages and great power the 747 afforded us only set to enter WW3 against our will. No to flying again unless absolutely necessary for Murphey's old law is the new norm in an increasingly dangerous hostile great divide that is the global geopolitical environment putting America and her citizens as public enemy #1 instead of something awesome like advanced super heroes uniting the world.

Test flight to test the Boeing junk. Stuff went wrong going up and must be the two astronauts formed a union in space and went on strike, refusing to gamble their lives on a craft that they nearly died in going up.

  • @hidden-treasures

Next step, restructure the Boeing contract. Make them put an experienced Engineer in charge of the company, or threaten cancellation. And, if they refuse. Cut them loose! The Dream Chaser is in the pipeline, so the Starliner is less critical now. The SLS, well, restructure the program around SpaceX's Starship...

Yes, I would argue that begging Elon for help was absolutely the LAST thing NASA's leadership wanted to do, but they also dare not risk another Challenger or Columbia disaster with astronauts losing their lives in space. Regardless of what happens to the Starliner next, Space X and Elon have still decisively won the PR battle over Boeing, and a great many people will hate to admit that.

@@gordontaylor2815 agree. He was also called on to provide satellites when the Ukraine War broke out to restore internet access for millions of people in that region. And did it in less than 24 hours. Like him or not, the man has been an unbelievable asset in times of crisis.
