      So glad it helps. I know it can be confusing, thats why we made the video. We are constantly getting questions about all of the different trail systems. Remember some of the information are just us sharing our opinions. For instance if your into tent camping, you can tent camp at Macks Pines, Moccasin Gap, Brock Creek, Mt. Magazine. Really any of the trail systems have suitable tent camping locations. Moccasin Gap wins in that category as well in my opinion because of the location of the campground. Any other questions you have, dont hesitate to ask.

    Yup getting lost is part of the fun!
    Yeah, we done the wolf pen back in 2006. Even back then it was getting way too commercial like.
    Yes, agree about the Mill Creek, stay out of the trail system. Get to the outskirts.
    We have got to make it to Brock Creek one of these days.
    Yep I would agree with your rating of the trails.
    Nice job putting the video together.

    Great insightful video especially for those of us living outside of Arkansas. We went to Moccasin Gap for the first time last month and it lived up to the hype! We stayed VRBO at the intersection of Hwy 7, 16, & 123. The cabin is around 12 miles north of the area where you all park for Moccasin Gap. Rode the trail noted in your Epic Trail video. Had a blast with how sketchy the trail was. Thanks again for all of your help with Gaia. It was a lifesaver out there. Being from around the New Orleans area we don't get to climb hills much so riding in Arkansas is worth the trip. Going back last week of September. Definitely need to meet up and ride together. I am starting to work with the GoPro so maybe we will have some videos to share with you of our next ride. Only made a few short videos of our first ride there and the videos weren't too good. We ride ATV's but I do own a SXS (don't hold it against me LOL). Also, is Josh always that quiet? Might be why he's single.......

      Really glad you guys had a good time! Good information on the VRBO as well. Glad you were able to find that epic trail! It's such a good one. Man yeah Gaia helps tremendously. It's so accurate too. Good to hear videos are coming! I'm interested to see what you film. Also glad to know at least SOME of you guys are on ATVs lol! We don't mind SXS guys. As long as they pull over when we are behind them 🤣. As for Josh, he's camera shy. Badly. He claims he was tired that day, but we all know better. It's all good, a lot of folks are camera shy. He talks a lot off camera. He is still single though. Just a lonely trucker 🤣

    Thanks for the video. I have to say that I’ve ridden Mena several times on an 850 sportsman. I love those trails. I like to ride fast and hit woods. Mena is really good for that. A lot of higher speed climbs just a hoot to fly around. Not so much scenery. One climb to a nice overlook. Really not a lot of flat gravel driving. They have shut down some trail over the years. But all in all a fun place to ride.

      We have a close friend that rents cabins there. He tells me everyone from Louisiana and Texas come up and ride and just love it. But he also told me it's mostly gravel roads. Very few trails. We have yet to see any videos of legitimate trails from that area. We love fast trails like what you're referring to, but we also like a challenge. Thanks for checking out the video man.

    • @garyhodge9250

      I’m a huge fan of Mack’s Pines. Been there a bunch. Greg is a hoot. Thinking about Buckhorn now. I ride a RZR XP 1000 now. I gotta say as a fellow rider don’t skip Mena. There are definitely a days worth of trails there. There may not be a lot of really technical big boulder climbs but there are definitely fast rocky climbs that wind through hilly trails. The worst part is they have started to shut some trails down. The woops there are the best I’ve ever ridden. If you catch it with no one else on the trail you can fly and get all kinds of air fro the jumps.

    • @garyhodge9250
      @garyhodge9250 7 месяцев назад +1

      I need to hit you up wit one more thing because it bit me once. You have to make sure the Mena trail system is ope when you go or it is mainly flat gravel roads. They close down for hunting for sure. But the trails there are very similar to a lot of what’s in moccasin gap.

    Do any ATV trail systems in Arkansas allow "on the trail" camping? Base camping and then trail riding during the day is nice, but I'm looking for what I guess is more "overland" / "ATV backpacking" options, where we can trail ride, stop and camp, etc. Thanks in advance! Great video!

More traffic = better chance to see abuse. All of that said, no question, the days of finding a true ATV only 50" max width trail are few and far between. And that is so unfortunate.
