Thanks for your hard work. I want to modify my 3600 cfm house cooler to run on solar panels, charge controller and lithium batteries. Everything I have is 12 volt DC oriented but maybe I can go to 24 volt. I would also like to run my original squirrel cage blower. As it is with, 2 speed 1/2 hp 120 vac motor, on low speed I am measuring 425 watts. That serves my purpose well and I rarely run the high speed at 760 watts. The pump is the standard ac energy inefficient unit. I already have a few DC pumps to try. I want free cooling this Summer when the sun is out. Last Summer I ran it on my home built ''solar generator'' with 7200 watt hour capacity. That unit is for backing up the fridge and a chest freezer during power outages. I prefer to build a dedicated solar charge battery pack dedicated to run the cooler alone. Have you run into any efficient 1800 rpm DC motors in your travels? Thanks much...you do nice work.
