    Good morning!
    I passed my LCSW exam on yesterday after four failed attempts. I purchased your study program and it helped tremendously. Thanks!!!

      Congratulations!!! I’ve failed the LCSW exam twice with 1 attempt left. So not motivated but after reading your comment, I guess I’ll keep going until I pass. Again, congratulations🙌🏾

      @@2cshanno don’t give up hope. Focus on the areas you didn’t do so well in. Practice questions, practice questions, practice questions. I would listen to Agents of Change while getting ready for work in the morning, on my way to work and back home. You got this!!!

    This is so helpful. Today is my first official day of studying. I took the exam and failed it twice in the past! This time I have completed my 3,000 hours of study and am actually taking time to study! I am going to stick with AOC for my study material. I got this!

    I chose D because the family is dismissive about the child's concerns. If they are dismissive, then I consider that neglect.

      I absolutely agree on D as well. We have been trained as SWs that when a parent neglects a "child" regardless of the age as Megan continues to say "we don't know the age of the child" the question clearly says twice ....child, our duty as mandated reporters is to appropriately contact CPS. Yes we can also consult with the nurse to administer the child but the most appropriate is to contact CPS....the parents prolonged on the child's condition and now endures pain and has become infected. I really don't agree with Megan's answer, it is what a person would do, but as Social Workers we are mandated reporters. This is what I'm afraid to encounter in the exam....these tricky questions ugggghhhhhh!!!

      I agree with you. I also do think A is the best choice considering that the parents are aware of the child’s situation but are dismissive even as the child cries in pain.

      @katierust5283 7 месяцев назад +4

      I understand what you're saying but I agree with A. If we can avoid CPS and still get the child taken care of, that's the best option. Sometimes all it takes is parents knowing that the school is watching the situation.

    For question #3, it mentions "over the past week", I thought that meant at least 7 days or more, meaning it would be answer B

    Explaining question 2 felt way off. You are attempting to get FUNDING for the project, not trying to get BUY IN from the community. Most funding resources WOULD need an evidence-based presentation to provide funding for a project.

    Question 1 i really feel like is D

  • @cd3848
    @cd3848 3 месяца назад +2

    This question is poorly written. It absolutely should be D. Based on the scenario, the skin condition is worse, so it's been on ongoing issue. The parents are dismissive and have not had the condition treated. The child is in pain and crying. At this point, we don't need a nurse's intervention because the scenario has already told us it's a progressed skin condition that hasn't been treated and the parents aren't concerned despite the child's pain. Calling the parents is redundant.

    • @tinalou5414
      @tinalou5414 15 дней назад +1

      The first sentence says the nurse is working with a child.... So I would assume the nurse has reported it to the parents or at least should have.

    • @TheSnugglebug81
      @TheSnugglebug81 10 дней назад

      add to this how else would they know if it is worsening than the nurse saw it again and called the social worker?

    • @nat9136
      @nat9136 3 дня назад

      The school social worker is also not medically trained and makes medical recommendations based on medical professionals, not on their own accord. Question #1 makes the ASSUMPTION that after the consult the nurse recommended further medical attention.
