This is a remarkable story. The girl who died, her father lost both her and his wife (her mom) in the same week. They went on to win state.
I watched the movie he lost the wife and daughter the same day
I also watched the movie and every time I watch it I cry
Depressed Ally on the video about her the dad himself said he lost the mom 7 days after the girl
Irini Savvaki on Hulu
@@finn9411 The movie exaggerated that. It really was 7 days on the documentary with the father.
I am so happy that there is a movie coming out that shows the hard work and determination of volleyball players. Keep playing!
same I play volleyball so I understand
Koko Volley OMG I AM SUBSCRIBED TO YOU KOKO VOLLEY YOU HELPED ME SO MUCH TO GET WHERE I AM NOW IN VOLLAYBALL
There is also an anime name is haikyu if you dont hate anime
It cracks me up how much people underestimate the sport. Finally a film that highlights good quality volleyball
It's so hard 😂😂
I can't tell the difference between the two blonde girls
Thank you, I was so confused
I guess us blondes just all look the same.
thought i was the only one
me too
nikolas magnussen ikr! It’s just the hair but still
And that folks is how you watch a whole movie in less than 3 minutes.
No you fool, the movie is longer than 3 minutes
To be fair, it's a true story. So we kinda already know what happens
Tayta Tot people like you... natural selection will catch up
my friend was mad when I told him a whole movie in 3 minutes
Epi King h
Finally a movie about Volleyball
There’s an anime about volleyball called Haikyuu!! and it’s amazing.
Fr thats what I said. Everything is about basketball, football, or baseball. Its like everybody forgot about volleyball
right?
hannah !! All You’ve Got was a volleyball movie that MTV released more than several years ago.
Miracle Ashmon everyone forgot about swim boi
They should really start making trailers shorter than 2 mins. or else you’ve basically watched the whole movie lol
Nope this movie is Very predictable. Even without watching the commercial.
Problem here is the story. A story that shallow would even been given away entirely in a 20 second trailer.
manfred schmalbach But it’s a true story
@@amazantaarchives9289 Still shallow af
@@manfredschmalbach9023 I mean unless you make up a lot of stuff to add to it ofcourse it will be shallow when fully based on a true story. You don't watch this movie for unexpected twists or deep storytelling though.
My volleyball team watched this and at first I was like “don’t cry...” then I was tearing up but right next to me my volleyball teammate was BALLING HER EYES OUT. Over it was a really good movie and the real pictures at the end killed me. Awesome work.
One of the most beautiful and inspiring stories about a true miracle season and a beautiful souls there were gone too soon. Rest in Peace Ellyn and Caroline. Brilliant movie, amazing acting and tones of emotions.
Sorry but for Riverdale fans :Polly never went to the farm she went to this school and joined the volleyball team
oh my god xD
Im dead XD
THATS WHERE SHES FROM.. omg it’s been killing me 😭😂
Yass
YazzyC1234 😂😂😂
Went and saw this in theaters in the great City of Iowa City, Iowa. And every time I re watch this trailer I get goosebumps, I had the privilege of having coach bres as one of my teachers and my brother had the privilege of going to school with Caroline. This movie was amazing, one of the best I’ve seen not only for the overwhelming feelings it gives you, but also because the people you see in this movie are even better people than you would imagine. I love you coach Bresnahan and I love you Caroline, we all want to live like you.
I couldn’t bring myself to watch this movie until now because I was so afraid they would take that tragic, beautiful, surreal year and bastardize it. Having finally watched it, I’m incredibly impressed how well they captured the ambience and story. The actors are uncannily good, and the setting is pretty near accurate. I would definitely recommend this movie!
At the end of my 6th grade volleyball season, my whole team watched the movie. We all were crying really hard. All but one girl. Even our coach cried
Ppl complaining about the movie revolving around white girls. LMAO which part of "based on a true story" didnt u understand?? Use your brains for once pls
Rai Livi THANK YOU! FINALLY SOMEONE WHO GETS ME!
That, plus they are not all white.
JACOB BUSH nothing against dark skinned people- really, I love them- but if you were, persay, Brazilian, and someone put you in a movie as a Chinese person- how would you feel? That’s basically disrespecting the person and who they are...
JACOB BUSH
Okay so if I make a story on Hitler (God forbid)
You want me to not follow the history, make him Hispanic, make his friends Germans with brown hair, brown eyes?
Yeah. But what you should know- this movie is about my highschool and about 3 weeks after Line died an African American boy in the 9th grade died in a house fire. We tried to celebrate him too, but comparably and - with some good reasons among the many not great ones - Line's life was celebrated the whole year now with a movie to boot ...I scarcely remember the other kids name, which is embarrassing for me, But says something about just how far we still have to go in Iowa with race issues.
I remember watching the HBO special with Frank Deford a year or so after Caroline’s death and i was so moved by her story (her mother died only a few days after her from cancer) and im so glad they’ve made a movie. Will definitely be seeing this.
I watched "miracle season" ...In my mind the Neil Diamond Song "Sweet Caroline" is chained with the story of Caroline Found for the rest of my life...Best wishes from Germany...
That ain't indie, I agree, but also: finally a movie with an inspiring female coach.
i check film's info in imdb, i think this is an indie movie since no big studio involved in production according imdb.
Roman reigns
A movie about an inspiring female coach... Like wild cats? starring goldie hawn.
This isn't an original idea... it's been done several times before
February 2019
I just watched this movie and had no idea I was going to weep as bad as I did. I couldn't stand them singing the Caroline song. 😔 RIP Caroline. She seems like a fun person to be with. She reminds me of Karen Carpenter
Just watch this trailer and you've seen the entire movie.
I did not expect to cry within the first 30 minutes of this movie...great movie!
The fact they used the actual live like line shirt 😭
They really picked the perfect song here; such strong women!!! ❤Live Like Line!!!!!!
I watched this with my volleyball team and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Love, love, love this movie!!
watched the little documentary about this tragic story on youtube... bawled my eyes out the entire time. I recommend it. Makes this movie feel like much much more
I watched this today, and it was wonderful!! I cried for one part! So happy they made a movie based on volleyball showing the hard work and determination it takes! 🏐 💕
Feeling goosebumps all over.
LIT a movie w volleyball as the main sport
rachel I KNOW RIGHT
IKRRR TOOK SOOO LONG FOR THEM TO MAKE ONE
rachel Haikyuu taught me that can be amazing. . . And also you're not team if you can't survive without your star player.
IKR
*Sees “LIT” and “volleyball” in the same sentence makes me cringe.
I remember this story. I’m glad that they are making her story in the light now.
This movie is my favorite. It’s always a good movie to watch
One of the best movie I've ever seen so far. Thanks for inspiring us and to keep our life moving forward...
I broke the replay button. This is so inspiring for all volleyball players and everybody.
I live not too far from where this happened ( Davenport, Iowa ) and honestly this movie seems amazing. I remember when this happened. Tragedy but the team made it!
I cried my eyes out watching this movie
bruh I got sm goosebumps just watching this trailer. And the fact that everything in this movie was so accurate to what happened in real life is more shocking. U might think u just watched the whole movie but srsly watch the movie. It's probably the best movie I've watched. I cried sm.
And then she grew up to be Starlight and one of the Seven.
I play Volleyball and have played for 6 years, and this movie looks amazing!!!

To be honest, I love movies like these. based on a true story.
Everyone: Is that Polly from Riverdale
Me: Is that Brooke from Greenhouse Academy
this is just like the real story from her name to the team colors and her number ,everything..glad they didn't change her story around like some movies do

Omg I watch what happened to Caroline I’m so happy they making a movie about it
the movie tells us that if we live a good life meaning, being kind to others, being helpful without expecting anything in return and being the source of happiness, you will be remembered.
Love the volleyball girls

We watch this movie yesterday and it is so so emotional and my cousin is always crying and me too but I learn how to play volleyball
In in a volleyball team since 2013 and im soo happy to finally whatch a movie about it
I & me same
I & me then you haven’t seen the best scene in Top Gun, my friend.
If you really want to see things about volleyball please go watch Haikyuu!! it’s so good
Starlight is in this movie.
That eye on her hands means " Whatever you do I CAN READ YOU " 😎😎
1:50 ...that strength... How strong fingers she has 😂😂😂(sorry, it made me laugh cuz I play as middle blocker and, ya know - it's funny scene)
I'm in the same boat. I loved the story but I wished the movie was had cast women in the main roles who could really, truly pass and set. Hard to see floppy wrists while setting-- it just took away a layer of realism and drew me out of the movie a few times. You can tell the extras can actually play volleyball.
Saw the whole movie😂😂
i already watch it and i love it
Wow, this looks like its gonna be great!
