Same. I kinda feel like Juliet would either want to live knowing that someone cared enough to die for her or she'd either hate herself thinking she was the reason someone died and probably everyone would hate her too. I really wished there was a second book so we'd just know

    *Spoilers*
for those of you who have seen the movie, did you look up what Sisyphus means? the teacher tried explaining it and never really did. I looked it up and it's a king from Greek mythology. he's punished for his deceitfulness by being forced to roll a huge boulder up a hill only for it to roll down when it nears the top. and it repeats for eternity. you see how that relates to Sam's situation?? and then towards the end of the movie when she's figuring out how to get out of this situation she's in class and the teacher mentions something about Sisyphus and it's been the answer to Sam's situation all along. I think the teacher said to be a good person or something like that. THE ANSWER WAS IN FRONT OF HER THE WHOLE TIME. anyways if even one person read this.. thanks. I just thought the whole Sisyphus thing was interesting..

I have to say watching this movie really made a beautiful impact on my perspective in my own life...I was so moved by the message of this movie. I got so much insight on myself watching this..I am not a teenager and i find that this also applies to me and i am in my 40's...The last thing she said at the end of the movie really moved my heart...for me it about how others mirror back to me my own shit..I use people today in helping me to look at myself. When i resent anyone, I hurt no one but myself...This movie also validated my life as it is now. It showed me how incredibly blessed i am with all i have today..It showed me how one slightest loving action can not only help someone else but i also benefit from that as well, even more..What i give out, I get back....Everyones perspective may view this movie differently and yet in my eyes i love it and it really helped me in more ways that one..I give it 5 stars..

Indy felix if you like this kind of movie, I suggest you to watch '13 Reasons Why'. It's a 13-episodes series on Netflix. Also adapted from a book. I haven't watch it but I have read the book and it has similar vibe as this movie but from perspective of someone who has been bullied that chose suicide as an answer, similar to character Juliet in this movie. But in this tv series, before the character commit suicide, she made 13 tapes to be given to 13 person that made her took her life.

Happy to see that so many fans of the book, Lauren Oliver, and Zoey Deutch are in the comments supporting the movie! The comments about it being "just another time loop storyline" aren't surprising. To those who haven't read the book, what really made Before I Fall special to me is not only Oliver's writing but how genuine and relateable the story was without all the over the top and awkward high school angst most media tries to sell us now a days. The best thing about Before I Fall to me was how down to earth it was when it comes to concept on how people interact and relate in general, not just in a high school setting. Fingers crossed that the movie is able to capture and maybe expand on what made the book so special.

Killing herself was the only way out and so that's why she says ''no, you saved me''. Juliet was the key to escaping the loop. Sam did two things at the end - she saved Juliet (which made her feel happy and good + the things she did before that) and she finally got out of the loop.

This whole movie was filmed in Vancouver Canada in my hometown! The "highschool" scenes were filmed at a University here in B.C called Quest. They capured so many good shots of Vancouvers gorgeous landscape, the high top green trees and forest in the driving scenes!!

Austin Vanderheyden They shot the houses, drive way scenes in Squamish BC which is north of the city its up near the moutains and forest area in Vancoucer, its a really really nice area! but its not cheap to live there either! But yes it was filmed in different parts all over Vancouver.

I kind of wished she lived in the end but there was no other choice, she was going to die either way from the start of the car crash. But somehow, something made it so her day would reset giving her the choice to change all the things that caused that accident to happen in the first place and to make things right. She didn't know at first why they crashed, but then she did. She understood that her choices led to that car crash. That was how that moment spoiled the ending for me. There's no way of getting out of this, she's gonna die either way. Very sad yet very meaningful. I don't think I've seen a movie that has impacted me this much before

There's a playlist one Spotify called "Before I fall" if you want all the songs, but those are the most popular.

    Anyway here is my theory.
I think she lived that day at first, and after she died in that car crash first, she went to the hell, that's why the day started over and over again. And maybe she had to find a way out from this hell, this is what we saw at the end. She saved Juliet, so she could escape from hell, and go to heaven (if you watch Lucifer, you will understand this hell thing better :D)
I wanna say that she was already dead, and it could be a logical explanation why this day could started again. Her task was to find the piece.

Okay, do you know when you are really bored and just want to watch an pointless stupid movie? I didn't even get this movie recomendded and never saw the trailer, I just went on this site and was like "ok, I choose this one" and I expected it to be really bad, but woow it was so good and the most meaningful movie ever! Like, I love movies like these, movies that get you to think after it's ended. Like, appreciate life and be kind to others. I also love character changing trough a movie, so that made it extra good. Oh, and the music in this movie, good good.
SPOILER ALERT: I knew she was going to die, because she died at the start, and when she said "I love you" to her parents and hugged her sister, I just knew it. I knew what she was going to do, ugh. I also loved that girl with the big shirt, Idk what she was called, but she was beautiful. And that guy (I know, I'm bad at remembering names), but he was really cute thought. (Btw. Now we are talking about cute guys, what is the teachers real name? The one with glasses? I have seen her before, ugh..
Anyway, I really hoped she would live but then again, nah, not every movie have to have a happy ending.
10/10! (This movie reminds me of The Butterfly Effect (I remember it has several endings) and also Final Destination (but they are kinda lame), but yeah)

Seeing so many comments on how predictable and boring this movie is gonna be is making me glad this is a standalone novel. At least there won't be any hating people who are going to ruin any chances of a second movie. LOL.
On a different note, you really do need to read the book to understand the important of this story and how it is *different* to other stuck-in-time-loop stories. It's more of a reflective book and really gets your thinking about some really deep shit which is really relatable. :) Can't wait to see this movie!

I love the message this movie gave. For some of us it's 3000, or 10, or that 1 day that can change someones life. Be the best person you can be each day and don't take anything for granted. This movie makes me want to be a better person. I'm going to see a girl i teased at school for being ugly and tell her i'm sorry.

ITS BASED OFF A BOOK WRITTEN 6 YEARS AGO PEOPLE. And she relives the days different ways, so yes she tries not going to school, and not getting in the car and a whole bunch of other stuff. Just don't watch the movie if you don't want to, but quit saying all this negative stuff just cause.

I really enjoyed the movie. I thought it was a horror film. But at the time I watched, I realized that it was a lovable movie. The movie refers a great message, that we should always try to do only the good, because life is
disputable. And also I love the way the 4 girls act. Especially the way Lindsey and sam shows their love of friendship to each other. Finally I wish all the very best to the director, actors and to the whole group. I hope the director Ry Russo-Young will make the 2nd part of this film.😁 Or make many more fascinating movies like this. 😍👍

Some of you people are so dumb. Yes, the concept has been used before, as many movie plots get used over and over again. Edge of Tomorrow used it after Groundhog Day used it. Yet, they are not the same story, as this story is not the same as those two either. If you are not interested, stop wasting your time watching it and commenting and move on. Let the people who are a fan of the book enjoy this moment. JFC

Thank you!!! I can understand, based off this trailer, if it reminds people of Groundhog Day, just because of the concept. But to say that it's a "rip-off" and to be degrading to fans of the books is just rude and snobbish. People can't enjoy anything anymore!

this was an absolutely amazing movie with a very strong point that we really need to look beyond the surface of everybody because all the characters in this movie have some kind of depth to them and some kind of emotion. It shows us that people who for example behave like Lindsay are putting on a front to protect themselves. And that deep down they're actually not what's just on the surface and the same goes for we see Juliet or Sam or any of the characters.
