I feel you. I'm 33 yrs old, and never in the past 18 months have I been so concerned about what awaits our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I worry that when I'm finally able to retire if I ever reach my goals, I'll spend my free time explaining how awesome it was seeing the value of hard work, and how it felt to be able to work a job you like while making a livable salary. And I came of working age at the worst time, right in the depths of the 2008 financial crisis, I was almost middle class but now I'm considered the working poor, many times taking on side jobs or volunteering to work 6 days a week just to maintain my standard of living to the best extent possible.
