- In today's video, Minion Blast is officially open at Universal Studios Orlando, and we get to ride it for the very first time! But we couldn't stop there, we decided to make a full day out of it enjoying the new Minion Land to it's fullest! We visit the Minion Cafe for lunch, ride Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, and get a freeze ray pop, too. Check it out and let us know what you think!

The Gru costume was awesome lol but I know it was hottttt 🔥!!!!! Sooo I think my imagination exceeded what the attraction actually turned out to be lol. I was thinking MIB but it's more of a moving sidewalk. I'm sure its fun but I kind of wish they went all out. They put a lot of thought into Minion Land as far as theming and design. But attraction wise, feels like something is missing. Maybe themed bumper cars with grumobiles, Lucy's cars, and rockets lol. I'm still excited to see it all next month!!!! 💛
Haha Tyler was a puddle by the end of the day. He’s a trooper! We thought they did a great job with it!! It’s very kid friendly, and much more similar to other kids blaster rides that we’ve ridden in other parks! It would have been neat to see what happens if they go 100% all out!

Love this video. The cosplay is excellent (feel like Anna got off a little easier lol). And Tyler doing Gru's accent was fantastic. Universal really needs to add a Butterbeer Swiss roll. That is an incredible idea. "Something to Gru on." LOL. I can't wait until you can film in the ride and queue so we can get a better idea of what it looks Ike and stuff

Tyler, that is dedication! Props to you. I'm super excited about this ride opening, and I can't wait to go back and play it. One concern I've had is whether there are separators between parties, or can you end up with people (read - kids) invading your space.
One of the times we rode they put a spot in between parties and the next time they didn’t so I guess it depends! There are dots on the walkway, though, so they assign you a dot to stand on the entire time. Your gun stops working if you step off your dot.
I really hope universal continues and keeps the quality for food. Also great to see more veggie options in the parks. After eating the fried stuff for a few days even my husband who eats a lot of fast food wanted something lighter.
We love the lighter options too!! Today cafe is one of our go-tos, but minions cafe is on the list now too!

Yeah we didn’t have any footage to show so we tried not to linger about it. It’s a lot like Toy Story mania but the blaster actually has a trigger and you’re on a moving walkway. The 3D screens are really busy, and it’s not at all clear what you’re supposed to be aiming for, but the visuals are cute and it’s fun!
Went to Universal back in May and saw y’all walking around! Tried to get a picture with y’all but looked up and you guys were gone 😂. Go Vols!

We’re just back from a week at universal and your videos have been so useful thanks!!
We were lucky enough to have a go on this new ‘ride’ - I say ride but as I said to my son I don’t class it as a ride 😂 maybe it’s my age, the fact it was the end of the day and we waited 45 minutes to go on it but to stand was not my idea of fun! The gun I think is too heavy for the age group the ‘attraction’ (because it’s not a ride 🤣) is aimed at. I genuinely got bored half way through. Glad to have done it but won’t hurry to go back 😔
It’s not our favorite ride by any means, but it’s better than a lot of other kid rides we’ve been on!
