The Gru costume was awesome lol but I know it was hottttt 🔥!!!!! Sooo I think my imagination exceeded what the attraction actually turned out to be lol. I was thinking MIB but it's more of a moving sidewalk. I'm sure its fun but I kind of wish they went all out. They put a lot of thought into Minion Land as far as theming and design. But attraction wise, feels like something is missing. Maybe themed bumper cars with grumobiles, Lucy's cars, and rockets lol. I'm still excited to see it all next month!!!! 💛
Haha Tyler was a puddle by the end of the day. He’s a trooper! We thought they did a great job with it!! It’s very kid friendly, and much more similar to other kids blaster rides that we’ve ridden in other parks! It would have been neat to see what happens if they go 100% all out!

Yeah we didn’t have any footage to show so we tried not to linger about it. It’s a lot like Toy Story mania but the blaster actually has a trigger and you’re on a moving walkway. The 3D screens are really busy, and it’s not at all clear what you’re supposed to be aiming for, but the visuals are cute and it’s fun!
Universal says in the app that it's opening August 11 but I see wait time. Is it open to everyone before that? I'm here from tomorrow until August 10 :(

Tyler, that is dedication! Props to you. I'm super excited about this ride opening, and I can't wait to go back and play it. One concern I've had is whether there are separators between parties, or can you end up with people (read - kids) invading your space.
One of the times we rode they put a spot in between parties and the next time they didn’t so I guess it depends! There are dots on the walkway, though, so they assign you a dot to stand on the entire time. Your gun stops working if you step off your dot.

Much shorter than the posted time. We waited 20-30 min both times. The walkway doesn’t stop so they get people on pretty quickly!
