This is a piano arrangement of the Ballad Of The Goddess from the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword that was originally meant to be part of a three-way versus. Since I didn't get a chance to record it before Christmas though, I'm doing a solo upload now. I actually wrote this arrangement in the summer of 2019, which is when we originally planned to do the versus, but the plan got delayed for different reasons.
It was really interesting to play an old arrangement of mine. I can see how my arranging style has changed even since I wrote this piece. The structure of this one is relatively simple compared to my more recent arrangements, and the textures-although they're still difficult to play-are less complex. It's a short but challenging arrangement that captures the energy of the original song.
