Here’s a fact that wasn’t even on the wiki until recently: curse of the lost increases the size of floors to the next chapter’s size (getting curse of the lost on basement will make that floor the same size as caves)
so THAT'S why curse of the lost floors always felt bigger
How it worked originally in Vanilla Versión (Eternal Edition)
The funny thing is that basement/cellar xl is smaller that basement/cellar + curse of the lost
That was on flash Isaac's wiki
I remember in flash isaac the rebirth curse of the lost had a different name (curse of the darkness) and the curse of the lost was this but you can still use the map, so curse of the lost in flash isaav just makes the floor bigger

@@AnUnfortunatePotato I'm pretty sure they drop as Giga bombs. I haven't done it myself so I don't know for certain, but I'm pretty sure I've seen other RUclipsrs do it

Fun fact about the Gideon crawlspace trapdoor, if you try to enter it during the Ascent revisit it will instantly crash your game. :)

About that "reroll item into itself" thing, it can only happen with pools that don't decrease the chance to appear by 100%, the most noticable being Libraries (10%) and Curse Rooms (50%).
That's a interesting one about daily run from wiki that i read a couple years ago: On December 6, every year, Isaac is reskinned as former Nintendo president Satoru Iwata as tribute. December 6 was also Iwata's birthday. He has the same stats as Isaac, but starts with The Gamekid and Cartridge.
I think breaking the mirror while inside it gives the breath of life effect
It did not occur to me that red hosts are just regular hosts without the skulls. That's why you can kill hem when they are down..

#4 Is weird, because the Odds decrease since you See the item, meaning from all the possible items that it can reroll into it is very unlikely. This is why you touch Active items so you never see them again in the run.
Here is the explanation and a myth all people believes: You don't have to touch an active item to get it out from the pool, only with books because of the library.
In shops, there is a 50% of seeing the same item and if you see it twice, it removes.
In curse rooms as saw in the clip, you actually have to touch both active and passive items to delete them from the pool, thats why that happened in the clip of the curse room, and not in the "treasure" (normal room) pool.
@@ignaem i know that for certain Pools, Just seeing The item removes it from being seen entirely; but a good rule of thumb is to always pick up an active item to never see it again for the rest of the run.

Here's one: Rarely, Item rooms will not contain an item, but instead a poop in the place of the item pedestal and several pickups.
I once found a treasure room that had no items, no poops, but 9 pickups in the middle
Finding that treasure room in a run would be the ultimate middle finger

i went into the mirror dimention as tainted jacob and the first room had spiked rocks and i tried not to let dark esau die but it just blew up the mirror

If you have no way of walking to the position all of the remaining enemies are at, the doors will open after about a minute and you will be counted as clearing the room. This does not work if there are bosses in the room or if you have flight. You can abuse this by using the poop to lodge yourself into rocks as ???, making him the greatest AND most fun character in the game

Not really, because absorbing the item while you're holding it above your head still won't give you its effect if it's a passive.
So the only utility is to counter curse of the blind or absorb shop/deal items if you care about the stat boots more than the effect.
@@Chaotic4Neutral I'm pretty sure if i am loaded with coins and have restock i might try to void every single non useful item that i don't like, same with the devil deals if i can get it for free somehow, idk about you, but that trick will indeed change a lot of stuff for me

Quite late for this but if it's still relevant for you or anyone else reading, you can pause the game to have time to read what you picked up before you decide to void/abyss it, similar to how you can pause with glitched crown if you can't time well. Now whether or not you want to pause to read is up to you, but I'm just leaving this tip here if you don't mind it.
Golden troll bombs are OP against the beast killing him in seconds. You can get golden troll bomb with book of virtues + mama mega
Tainted enemies have boss armor, but you can kill them very quick with a bomb since they pierce armor
Is the fall into a pit function actually ever used?
Idk if pitfalls thrown by little horn or trap rooms do that animation but that would be the closest to it.
Little horn's attack can trigger that animation, but the mentioned in the video is another way for triggering it.
probably a placeholder code to prevent the game from softlocking if you lose flight

I make use of that first fact all the time since Tainted Apollyon is my favorite character. It's incredibly helpful.

I tried to trigger it using them but they kept pushing me away, even with blast protection. In other cases they simply didn't remove the tile under the player.
The rerolling into the same thing happened to me, I rerolled an attack fly into the an attack fly and I uttered “coulda been worse”

Fun fact- if you ever want to not buy a shop item/devil deal, you can drop your trinket and pick it back up. This can be useful for certain devil room layouts and possibly other things
Uranus + Death's list (and maybe Frozen baby) makes you get the kill bonus most of the rooms without caring about the order
I remember when NL got 5 tinted rocks in a normal room after using Tower? card. Pretty cool but also can softlock you.
Not really. There will always be a pathway to all doors and where the player is standing. The game has a mechanic to prevent such softlocks.
@@IsaacGuru I know about that mechanic, but try to use it in a boss room when the trap door is opened, it can slap your face with a surprise if you don't have resources :)
So in current state of the game I never trust any such mechanics, they tend to be faulty which is honestly understandable.

Yeah, I guess this is true for boss rooms only. However, using it in a normal room doesn't seem to have any issues.
I've also seen it create a softlock in the Member Card marketplace, where it can block the exit ladder.

Idk about death certificate, but the other 3 probably work
Plan c kills you so idk what you mean but death certificate CAN save you if you take something like r key or glowing hour glass

What happens if you escape the mirror world with something like undefined, after breaking the mirror? Do you still suffocate?
If you use a teleport item/card/pill you would teleport in the same mirror dimention, so you still suffocate

Using a restock machine in the mirror world can make items appear! Especially useful if you are lucky enough to find a black market with a restock machine...

No idea if it's unknown at all, but you can see the shovel's shadow in basement 1 if a minute hasn't passed.
That's how you unlock The Forgotten.
Getting the same item on reroll is due to curse rooms only reduce item weight by 0.5, as opposed to fully reducing item weight to 0 as in treasure, boss, angel and devil rooms. So getting the same curse room reroll is less likely but possible.
Also happens with Libraries and Shops, if you dont touch a book, it will not remove from the pool like other actives.

Nope, you still get respawned in the Mirrored world room.

can you find out anything about golden soul? i found it first time today and i never knew that existed and i still don't know if it does or is it mod i have but it basiaclly works like blank rune but with souls
That's basically Clear Rune. It works with both runes and soul stones. There's no golden soul. It might have been the bug where you reroll a golden trinket and it turned into a golden pickup. Do you maybe have a picture of this?

The aura itself does not damage you, however if you stand in it for too long it will summon a beam of light that deals damage.
Evil Charm prevents the beam from being summoned at all.

Another good video, fact #6 and #8 are very interesting, evil charm is rare to get for me, so I never noticed it. For #8, does this apply to those super special rocks aswell?
9 is falling into a pit
Haven't personally tested it since they're a very rare spawn but I'm sure it's possible. If it can happen with regular tinted rocks, there shouldn't be any limitation to double tinted rocks.
