- Here is our guide to making your own light up LED canvas. Either follow these steps or check out our blog post here ►www.festive-lig...
Step-by-step Guide:
1. First you’ll need to choose the canvas you want to light up! It’s best to pick one where you can already imagine where the lights should be.
2. Next you need to choose the lights, we chose 20 bright white LEDs on a clear cable.
3. Decide exactly where you want the lights to go, remember to test how well the light shines through in different areas of the canvas.
4. Next place the double sided sticky tape in the areas that you want the lights to be.
5. Now firmly press the LED lights on to the double sided tape making sure you keep checking that the light is in the right place.
6. Once you are happy with your canvas you can use some more double sided tape to secure the battery pack to the canvas.

...and I thought I'd have to cut an X in each light on my $60 wall art canvas 🤔. I didn't think the lights would glow through...💡🤫🤭...Thanks for sharing 🙏🏽
This is amazing.
But what if the lights go bad after a period of time. What do you do? How do you fix that?
Too cool, thanks for making this video. I like the completed project at the end of the video.
Super creative got me saying wow
I want to do something like this but with LED strips, but I want to add them to the frame on the inside so it can light up the space around the canvas, not the actual image, an aqua color, just need to finish the drawings
I was interested and looked for it. I'm going to have a good look.
what a great idea!
Beautiful!
Thank you 💝
Would love to do that on Eiffel tower
That’s awesome

How would you do a soft even light?
hi where do I buy the LED lights? I searched amazon, or home hardware stores. they all come in strings of 40+ Blubs... all I need is around 4 or 5. And also, if the distance between the bulbs are too short, what can I do? thank you!
Lowes and Michael's
what type of LED lights did you use? Christmas lights or like twinkle lights?
For this project we used our flashing battery fairy lights.
@@festivelights : How do you replace the batteries safely without damaging the print
Good for you I only paid 15 bucks for my light led canvas pic on wayfair that sounds like a project to me....
What kind of paper used for that ? Canvas paper ?
Yes
cool!
What do you make your hole with??
Thanks
We haven't pierced any holes in the canvas in this DIY, The areas that we've placed our lights are in light areas of the picture so they are able to project through the canvas using double sided sticky tape to stick our lights into place.
@@festivelightshow thick is the canvas used? Can I use fairy lights on canvas?
I would like to make one, but I'm scared .. if the lights are too hot it may burn ... or not..??? :/
+husni bee led's wont burn , just use a 3 volt system. (two AA batteries) led means light emitting diode , so no heat like a light bulb..hope that helps :-)
+ivan hodgetts ahhhhh ooook stupid me :D thank u so much. U really helped me through my worries
Plug you light in or battery operated. Put them on and hold in your hand. That what I do. Hope this Helps 😁
What song is this? 🤗
How do you control turning them on and off?
Somebody asked how do you turn the battery pack on and off. As far as that goes how do you replace the batteries without ripping the canvas
im assuming you have to take of the canvas and turn them off each them which would be annoying. Would be better if you can remote control lights
I got some little led lights. It has a remote. One of my lights didnt want to remote though the canvas. I found the where it has to connect w remote an made the smallest hole posible. It works.
what the type of material that used in photo ??
It's painting canvas
what tape do you use
The tape we used was double sided sticky tape.
