More business tips, please. I'm semi retiring and will finally have time to start a balloon business in retirement. Where is the cheapest way to have a nice website? Setting up a website, the must haves. , Bookkeeping system for taxes. Insurance, is it needed? All the small business start up things you need to know. The stuff that no fun, but needed for a small business.

My children are grown, but we had a camper as well, and it was amazing memories! My husband and I are currently contemplating a toy-hauler next!! 😊❤ enjoy!!

Concerning the Menu board. I have been twisting for nearly 32 years, i have over 180 designs in my head (some I learned from your videos, thank you very much!). Now, I certainly can't list everything I can do on the menu board. At best, when I do use a menu board, I list only 12 or 15 designs. Honestly, it gets boring for me as the twister to do 12-15 designs for hours. Normally, I prefer asking the child their favorite color and if they have an idea what they want or if I can surprise them with something I think they would like. Many kinds will let me surprise them I seldom disappoint them. Also, I try my best to make something different for each child. Shortly into the gig The kids will see what I've made for other children and then they know what they want.
Don't get me wrong, I can see the value of having a menu board. I find I am more flexible and enjoy the gig better when I am not limited to the same figure (honestly, after the 12th spiderman or 20th teddybear it get old).. I do like to think I play well together, so almost anytime I'm working with other twisters at the same event, one of them usually will have a menu board which I gladly will work from, but I always "go off the board" if a child as for a design that not listed.
My favorite designs are your 8 leg Spider and I have been asked to attend a "Barbie" themed event next Tuesday and once again, you did not let me down! Keep up the great videos!

Fab tips as always, Holly. Would love to understand more about setting up a website and online booking systems. Even though I've been a Twisterhood member for quite a while now, I'm still learning something new with every post/video. Thank you for everything you do for us! 🥰🎈

Thank you, Holly. It has helped a lot from everything you explained, and it would be nice to hear a bit more about other things that you do. I have downloaded one of your free menus, and it has made it a lot easier when people can see what can be made for them and choose an item. On some occasions, I do provide workshops in which I sometimes do origami, and parents come with their kids, and they make things with me. Hope you recover very soon❤

I have sliced the tip of my pointer finger off as well with a brand new knife! No way I could twist with it. I kept it bandaged up and it got stuck, had to go to the ER to get the bandage off. I now have a new fingerprint.
I love being dressed to the nines in balloon attire! I tell people is the only way I get taking seriously!

Great video and great advice. I am doing most of it, but rarely use a menu unless it's a school carnival...however, I will start using one now as you described situations I have run into and I just kinda shrug them off. lol. Thank you Holly. Your top 12 have too many girl designs so I would add a sword and a laser gun. :)

Question for you. I hope you didn't already addressed this yet cuz i wasn't paying close attention at times during this video. 😮 What do you do if you are hired lets say for 1 hour of twisting, but when you are at the party and Begin to twist you realize there are so many kids, you will never finish in 1 hour. How do you handle that type of situation? It's not like you're gonna leave in one hour and not make a balloon for half the kids at the party. But that's all they paid for is one hour.
