I wear a face shield and a mask when I work, set up with hand sanitizer for me and my clients and work with gloves on so I don't touch the balloons directly. Ppl in my area are not so freaked out about covid anyways.
I was thinking of shipping some balloons to some of my family. My biggest concern is whether they will pop anyway with the altitude changes. Even ground shipping changing a few thousand feet may expand the air and pop or deflate. Has anyone shipped with hifloat and an altitude change?
Hey Holly, I just ran across this and wanted to say, I love it. I tried it 2 months ago so I could send a flower arrangement to my mom. She loved it. I've used hi float since 2001 in others but that's what gave me the idea.
I learned about this a few months ago I did a test dog it’s almost a month in a few days still looks good. So now with arrangements I am using it. Did my first flower/grim reaper arrangement last week still looks great.
I absolutely love the timing of this video; I was just thinking the other day about experimenting with this stuff!!! I must've missed that particular Q Corner video you were talking about, but I agree on them being great resources!
Hey Holly! I was just wondering how to make my balloons last longer! I am making an arch with a couple twisted balloons in it and this stuff will come on handy! Thanks!
I am signed up for the Germar Day and received some hi Float in my gift 🎁 and was wondering if you can use it for balloon Sculptures and then you did this video. You are so awesome 🤩. Thank you 🙏🏽 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I made a fairly large sculpture using hi float and when some of balloons broke it was a big mess. I am glad that you gave me some ideas to lesson the mess when cutting or tearing the balloon ends.
I have researched Hi Float in the past and was discouraged in what I found, but Im so happy with your instructions. Thank you Holly . I have been offering deliveries since Covid but now I can super promote it using Hi Float. Im in the Cayman Islands btw and we are fully reopened for business since June however our borders remain closed and we are Covid free as well. Thank God
Glad it was helpful! Happy to hear you guys are back in business! Our state was pretty lax this whole time fortunately, but I'm sad for otherrs who were hit so hard and are still suffering!
Are you also using High Shine on the outside of the balloons, or tried it? If so, did it help with the balloon lasting longer? Thanks for all you do!!😊
In an attempt to make my balloons last longer I used wood glue once. I took several attempts to make a 350 bear. I exploded 4-5 balloons. The completed bear lasted for 3 years before I cut it apart. There did not seem to be any air left in the balloons. I guess the outside and inside of the balloons were at equilibrium. I think it could have lasted at least 3 more years. Thanks for this video.
Annnnnnd noooow I have to try this using wood glue because that's very intriguing .... I have wondered if just an Elmer's glue would do the same thing rather than buying the hi float but have yet to try it... I guess now I will have to do some comparisons
@@beetlejuicebeetlejuicebeet409 I would recommend trying to do this outside. I exploded several Balloons making the bear. The glue was on the walls and ceiling.
It lasted FOREVER! Was going to do an update video on them before we moved from georgia, but in our packing process they got popped :( Looked great all the way until December!
@@HollyTheTwisterSister As someone who does balloon modelling for art and not entertainment purposes this is beyond a game changer to have the ability to have balloons last 8 months (and that’s only because it’s popped) makes me feel so much more inclined to make advanced pieces and be able to enjoy them for a ridiculous amount of time. I understand doing that and applying Hi float to each individual balloon will probably take hours but to enjoy it for something like 6/12+ months it’s insane!
I tested this process. On March 28 I put different amounts into 260s then left them. The balloons that looked the best was 1ml hi float. I made a video of myself checking the balloons and shared with friends lol They think I'm crazy. My friend swears it's great for 160s too
Do you offer shipping or delivery options in your balloon business? Tell me how you've adjusted your business and adapted since covid in the comments!
Hi Holly! Now a few months have gone by. How long have they lasted?

Can you make a video on your twisting setup for events
I knew it! I've been injecting go float in my 260 and 160q's since 2012. I would use those little medicine syringes you get from the pharmacy.
Clear children’s glue works fantastic I do squeeze out excess before I inflate and test balloon is 6 was old
This will be great for balloon candy cup delivery.
Holly I made a flower with the high float in it and it was still looking excellent after 3 weeks.
I'm going to give it a try. Love the idea of Shipping. Thanks 😊
I shipped 4 light up 22 inch bubble balloons on a stick, with a rose inside.Shipping from Wi. to Mi. was $70 .It was a BIG box.
Whoa! That’s crazy and super cool! Did they arrive ok?

High Float is AMAZING I have one that I made and used that and it’s been the same size for almost a month

I was just researching this. Thanks so much for the video

Was there a notice? Did not know about this . . . Just happened to go scrolling! Watching now! I have some of that stuff! Will give it a try🙂!
Oh my! I have no idea how I missed this! However I do have the product but never opened it. Will give it a try in a few days!

Just curious.. Does the coating break down eventually? I like the fact that latex is natural and biodegradable.
The box says that it is safe, non toxic and biodegradable!
Well any updates on this dog? :)
How about the use of Balloon Magic Pipe and how to put a ball inside a clear 260Q balloon
Hey there my dear friend ❣️
Hello Norma! Hope you're doing well!!
Ran straight to Walmart.... I am making a candy cup to take pictures of days out.
Yeahhhhh! Haha can’t wait to see it!!!
First😀
You win! 😄
@@HollyTheTwisterSister thanks 😂🤣
I’m a big fan of Holly’s, but this video os way too long. I simply don’t have the time to watch all of this. I had to skip ahead.
