    When I blew my o-ring while taking the nut off, the bulb wouldn't come out. I'm wondering if you don't clean the inside of the mag some gunk might make a strong enough seal around the top of the bulb to blow out the o-ring.

    With the oring issue ive noticed that if you hold the valve open for at least a minute before and while opening the mag nut there are minimal issues. Then again ive only put one mag through my black hornet but i noticed that once it stopped firing there was still a fair bit of gas in it and even after i had held it open for a min or two there was still a hissing sound

    Do a comparison vid for Co2 bulbs - branded v generic. from what ive read - huge difference in maintenance

    Interesting I’ve two mags and I thought first load up I was getting 6 mags per canister shooting 13 gels each but today I only seemed to get 3 mags per cylinder shooting 13 gels per mag 🤔

    Cheers for the info bro, don't know if it would fix your problem, but I've been told the safest way is to fire gells until the gas has run out and then hold the purge as you unscrew , it's also not recommended to dry fire it either.

    • @IIIIRokzIIII
      @IIIIRokzIIII 4 года назад

      Dry fire is a complete non issue. If it were a strong spring like an air rifle, definitely not. But CO2 does not matter.
      The only thing it 'may' affect is the blowback function, but that's easily, and cheaply, replaceable. And this would be just normal wear and tear.

  • @Wombatzone31
    @Wombatzone31 4 года назад

    I not only mash the valve like my life depends on it but I also put a little silicon on the bulb and inside the mag, that way when the co2 pressurises it mixes with the oil.

    I keep pressing my valve for like 1-2 mins, waiting 10-20 secs between each press and gas still comes out for ages. Eventually then when it's completely empty and no gas comes out what so ever when I press the valve it's safe to unscrew, blew 1 ring in the beginning, and now then have put countless through and it's been fine

    Great vid mate! How's your trigger pull? I'm getting about 95% dead space and only about 1-2mm of active trigger pull, resulting in the full auto not working properly. Anyone else having this problem?

    • @lowguidoschopshop

    • @IIIIRokzIIII

      You can get a refillable 12g bulb that has a nozzle to fill off a green gas canister if you want, it's about 50 bucks for the set. I'm not sure on the performance though.

    Cheers L-G,
    Sorry for the rant.. Quite enjoy your channel as you share a lot of knowledge, and you can actually hold tools correctly... oh and you can mathematics and stuff.. hahaha
    After owning an APS XTP for a week or so, I found that silicone shock oil around the 40wt (500cts ...remember the centistoke scale?!) is perfect. Thick as and everything loves it...rails to o'rings. good thing I'm into RC hey!?
    The two stage "valve/bulb piercing" option, is a solid idea but pierces the cartridge barely. I wind out the centre part all the way once the cartridge has been pierced that way there is full flow, as before (wound in) I couldn't empty a full gel load without it losing a huge amount of pressure. Nothing worse than a tiny ptttt... after 5+ rapid shots.
    I've had more issues with the release valve (the one that's hit by the hammer) than anything. but winding them out half to 3/4 of a turn sorts that out...
    My XTP, (unless I have a freak blaster) Is a later 2020 bought one, and I found, that the "mag float" (ie: the lack of seal between the mag seal and the nozzle) has been fixed. Maybe it's me winding the release valve out...
    It's barely 0.5mm though.
    10 x c02 bulbs and this freakin' thing is perfect. consistent in every way. Great feel and it just hammers through gels.
    Latest is the Golden Eagle 3305 GM1911. Picky on what gels you use that's for sure. Massive kick but looks absolutely perfect! My pick is the XTP atm.
    Cheers mate!

    My mag didn't last the equivalent of two mags worth of gels, I added lubes etc prior to use..... Then all of a sudden the whole blaster shuddered because of trapped air somewhere in the system.
    The valves in those mags are just bad. I went through 22 canisters in an effort to repair it and none of it worked.

    Hello, I love your videos, they are my go to for reviews on new blasters and upgrades. Could you try to put the internals of the 3DG Glock into a 1911 to make an electric 1911? Ive been looking far and wide for a decent electric 1911 but alas there is no electric 1911s. However i had an idea of making a frankenstein electric 1911 with the 3DG internals. It would be amazing if you could help me test it out. Thank you and have a nice day!

    • @lowguidoschopshop

      Its an interesting Idea. I think maybe a bit beyond my capabilities though. the Glock action is different to the 1911, maybe someone could 3d print some thing? it would be a hard task.

    This mag design looks tougher than the Kublai mags, the valves look a lot more robust over the tiny Kublai bottom gas valve. At the end of the day I'd rather replace an O-ring over a whole valve so any advances in the strength, durability and design of the mags and valves is fantastic to see
