- This is one of the interviews I've wanted to get back out in the public eye for a long time. Al Jourgensen is definitely an innovator so it was an honor to interview him the way we did that day back in April 2003,....with total privacy, one-on-one in his downtown hotel room. I found Al personally to be a very cool guy,...honest to himself & to us (the fans) in this interview, as he talked about his sobriety, his new wife at the time, his band, etc. The camera work could have been a lot better, but I was thankful for a co-workers help that day, as we had to follow a stringent timeline that day. SO,...enjoy Al & if you dig it,...spread it! Best, El Mero Metal, Robb Chavez
Im glad I was able to hang out with him at his living room with his cats, dogs, and wife.
great interview, thanks for posting!!!great to see al so coherent!!too bad it didn`t last!such a charismatic guy!!
S'funny that Al said he enjoyed making Animositisomina but in 2016 he said it's the worst Ministry album he's ever made (not counting With Sympathy).
I've never seen an interview from the Animositisomina era. It's interesting that he was talking of working on a new Revolting Cocks record while Paul was still in the group.
Yes, 2003!
great interview!
It's so funny to watch this and know how much he ended up fucking despising this record.
Studio in Chicago? Wheres that?
Wait...2007? You mean 2003, right? By 2007, he was on The Last Sucker...
It says April 7th, 2003
Crazy uncle Al
he looks good here...watch the making ofMinistry - Relapse...hes 105 pounds again...gaunt and an alcoholic. its sad...he looks pretty frail. He looks real good here...im guessing this interview is 2004? Hes supposedly been off drugs since 03...thats where the reference comes from plus Lard...Lards been dead for years
He went to El Paso because it sits directly on the Mexican border~ lots of high potency, inexpensive heroin!
Hence the title RELAPSE.
can you talk a little bit about ...
