@@ColeSensemanhe is the only player in baseball that would’ve been out on that play, and most of the time he even runs faster than that, nothing about that play shouldve resulted in an out
Johan Rojas' out at 1st base should be on here. It was his 1st game in his career, and he caught the ball, ran into the fence, and then threw him out. Outstanding play.
you typically don't have to anyway which is the odd thing, everyone runs on the Rockies despite them being one of the worst teams offensively in the league but one of the better outfield defensive units as well.
The fact that Soto and the Padres tried to get an obstructing the plate call on that Doyle assist when Soto was clearly out by 20 feet and the throw took Diaz there is hilarious. Don’t run on Brenton Doyle.
Sometimes it works. The year that the malicious contact rule was introduced, a runner who had stopped and surrendered was ruled safe because the catcher "obstructed" him while making the tag.
A couple lessons from this video: 1. The Rockies' OF shows a lot of promise defensively, even if the rest of their team is awful. 2. A lot of OF assists are the consequence of poor base running decisions by the runner and/or 3B coach.
Rockies have always had incredible defense. Their infield has a lot of skill too this year. McMahon and Tovar were gold-glove caliber Their problems this year were mainly pitching and some offense. They lost their 2 best starting pitchers for Tommy John, and the rest of their starters under performed. The bullpen was good initially but got so overworked by the sheer amount of innings they were used.
@@person0542 Then the video should’ve been called “highest MPH throws” and not best outfield assists. The best outfield assists are when the game is on the line.
Use your awareness. The throws are getting harder and harder throughout the video. It's clearly not the best outfield assists but the hardest thrown outifield assists. Nick Castellanos has one of the worst arm strength of any RF in baseball, he was never going to make this list because title is misleading, he can't throw upper 90's.
To see OFers strong and direct throw toward HB, catchers receiving and touching runner makes us feel full of adrenaline!! I remember Ichiro's laserbeam and area 51.
This is why I love baseball. So much more fun than home run derby. As an Astros fan, I assure you that Dubon has by far the strongest outfield arm on the team, and deserves to be a starting outfielder next year.
I'm not sure if it's the fact that the camera is cutting mid throw or what, but a lot of these don't look like rockets. I didn't see any that looked explosive or violent out of the hand.
Wasn’t Stanton like little faster than average with the marlins. Not saying he is super fast but I remember in mlb the show he had like 70 speed or something in miami
Finally some Rockies appreciation! Gotta love Doyle and Jones!
I thought the rangers had rifles jones and Doyle are amazing. Not much goes right for the Rockies at least those two are doing well
@@KevinL-hc5vq The catcher or catchers are good at applying tags to runners as they try to score.
@@gravitykat714yeah not much goes right because the owner doesn’t care
Should’ve just been titled “Doyle and Jones highlights” 😂
Stanton walking like a baby was both hilarious and outrageous for a person like me who is a Yankee fan
Is stanton was actually running he probably would have gotten there
@@ColeSensemanhe is the only player in baseball that would’ve been out on that play, and most of the time he even runs faster than that, nothing about that play shouldve resulted in an out
As a HUGE Astros fan, I couldn’t do anything but feel bad for him and laugh a little, he had no reason to slow down
Dudes terrible, literally only good for bombs once in a blue moon. Poor Yankees fans lol
If he wasn't a big shot he'd sit down for a couple of games. Pathetic
My takeaway is that the Rockies were not good at winning games...but they were very good at outfield assists.
Johan Rojas' out at 1st base should be on here. It was his 1st game in his career, and he caught the ball, ran into the fence, and then threw him out. Outstanding play.
Lets just all agree not to run on the Rockies anymore
Bro with their pitching you don't even really need to
Moral of the Story: Doyle should have won platinum glove.
@@BensPitchingClips Potentially yes

@@joshuapatrick682 Because it's a spacious outfield, it's assumed that theyll get runs on the other arms.
Brenton Doyle and Nolan jones compilation
Once Nolan Jones improves his range in the OF, he will become a true 5-tool player. I absolutely love watching him play.
Love how half of them are from the Rockies
0:37 'ouuuahhht at the plate' 😂

@@DMoneys36defense a few years ago was pretty bad
Brenton Doyle and Nolan Jones my goodness. I guess that’s what you need in an outfield that big
Dude this video was all rockies gotta love it
Welcome to the Rockies Highlight Show! ❤️
Rockies have some young studs in the OF
Stanton being thrown out is as much the throw as the lack of running.
Having hope as a Rockies fan feels weird
Jeez! Colorado has a monster outfield!
Doyle is te best arm actually in MLB.
I just now realized that Brad Hand played for the Rockies this year.
rockies are insane
Don’t run on dem rockies boyyyy
Jones and Doyle are studs
Ian happs game winning outfield assist in extra innings against the brewers not being on here is disrespectful
Seriously he had two game saving plays in the same game and that’s not on here 😂 what is the editor doing
i think it was just sorted by highest mph throws
@@person0542 Then the video should’ve been called “highest MPH throws” and not best outfield assists. The best outfield assists are when the game is on the line.
@@j0shgreenei agree
Platinum glove should have gone to Doyle instead of Tatis Jr
This video really should've been titled "The Colorado Rockies Will Throw You Out".
Sheesh, this is pretty much just a Rockies montage. At least that's one thing their fans can cheer about.
Love me, Tatis, the platinum glove winner. He is so good!
only thing i learnt from this video is that the rockies outfielders are absolute gods
How is the nick castellanos one not on here?!
He must’ve not thrown it fast enough to be on this video
Use your awareness. The throws are getting harder and harder throughout the video. It's clearly not the best outfield assists but the hardest thrown outifield assists. What great newer stat! I has no idea these guy are throwing 98-103 mph!💪💪💪
Tatis has an absolute hose out in right field. Part of the reason he won a Platinum Glove!
Amen bro❤
Lesson of this video, don’t run on Nolan Jones or Brenton Doyle
To see OFers strong and direct throw toward HB, catchers receiving and touching runner makes us feel full of adrenaline!! I remember Ichiro's laserbeam and area 51.
Love to see jones and Doyle
Todos esperados en home con una banda de músicos 😂😂😂, wow, the 2 outfielders from CR are amazing playing deffense!
Ver este vídeo me hace sentir que la temporada aún está viva😢❤🎉😊! Dominican Love Baseball Game ⚾💪👏💖
I had to flip off of full screen to see if I clicked on a Rockies video.
0:38 - That voice crack tho!
with 38, the Rockies led baseball in outfield assists
8 out of the 15 throws here are just Nolan Jones and Brenton Doyle
Brenton Doyle is reminding me of the CarGo days when no one ran on the Rockies outfield
Just curious, how come I can walk faster than Stanton sprints?
I had to do a double take looked like Frazier caught Mookie lackin and gunned him down with his own MB50 on! Its close but different web !
This is why I love baseball. So much more fun than home run derby. As an Astros fan, I assure you that Dubon has by far the strongest outfield arm on the team, and deserves to be a starting outfielder next year.
Doyle is on the thumbnail for a reason
If they could build around Doyle and Jones, Colorado could be filthy in the future. Absolute sniper rifles out there.
I'm not sure if it's the fact that the camera is cutting mid throw or what, but a lot of these don't look like rockets. I didn't see any that looked explosive or violent out of the hand.
Are relay throws used anymore
Damn Doyle! 💪
Stanton was just going for a light jog
No Johan Rojas Outfield Assist!?
So basically the Rockies have artillery for outfielders
0:39 voice crack😂
Colorado Rockies outfield highlight reel
Summary: don’t run on the rockies
Whole video is like "dont run on the Rockies"
nolan jones has a cannon. Cle dumb to trade him.
I wish I could see what the 3rd base coach was calling for on all of these plays.
the stanton one shouldnt even count. That wasn't an assist, that was a mercy kill.
So a Brenton doyle highlight got it 😅👌🏼
So MLB what have we learned today? That no matter what happens you don’t gamble with the Rockies especially Doyle and Jones
Wasn’t Stanton like little faster than average with the marlins. Not saying he is super fast but I remember in mlb the show he had like 70 speed or something in miami
I learned Brenton Doyle was a good outfielder from mlb the show when he robbed my home run smh
His numbers in the minors were pretty insane. Once he gets going offensively he'll be scary into his prime.
stanton getting a 3 spd rating in mlb the show 24
Where is Jordan Walker's assist where he keeps the ball from going out and fires a strike to 2nd for the out????
stanton running with 2 pianos on his back
And a bulging wallet!.....I guess wealth really does make you lazy!
The outfield is NOT the reason that the Rockies are losing games, just to clarify🤣
This was pretty much a Rockies highlight reel
Guess I’m a Rockies fan now
This is a Elías Díaz highlight reel 🤣
That woman at 4:10 should be doing D3 women's Lacross somewhere
evidently the great assists are all at home plate
Literally Doyle + Jones highlight
colorado rockies compilation
True
Fernando should not have won the Platinum Glove, shoulda been Doyle
How are Brenton Doyle and Nolan Jones not on here
I don’t know
ok i get it ... if its the rockies... just stay
0:58 did he just give up or basically forgot how to baseball?
Let’s all agree to not run on tatis
Why the first one has to be Mookie getting gunned down at home 😒

Brenden Doyle highlight reel
Trade Resume for Rockies OF
did i click on a rockies highlight plays?
Le tienen miedo a los jardineros de los Rookies, no se le puede correr.
Brenton Doyle my goodness
I was sure we'd see at least one from Adolis...but alas, no.
It's crazy that Colorado has 2 gunslingers throwing 100+ in their outfield.
MJ Melendez
Hi
Wow none by Adolis Garcia. Didn’t dude lead the mlb with these at one point. Smh
I’d bench Stanton if I saw that
1:57 love how he’s complaining about no open path to the plate my guy Your out by a mile gtfo
I’m very early
They are too good shoulders.
Sorry,I'm Japanese so I can't write accurate English...
Second
can we make a petition for people to stop say "second" or "ten thousandth"?
Most of these were bad base running/coach decisions
