This is inspiring. It's never too late to learn drawing, as a person who loves art but never got a chance to learn and practice.

The small group discussions in goals club are so intimate and meaningful. Sometimes it’s just two people so you can get to know others and feel a strong connection with other artists and people who are passionate about learning art skills and playing!

These classes sound right up my alley. When I recover from sinus surgery and can put my head down repeatedly I will sign up!

Great video! Alissa, I love your art. You are both helping me think about what I want to do with art. I’ve been very drifty about it, just a lack of focus. I’m clarifying that I would like to do exciting work. After watching the one yesterday with France, Van Stone, and then watching this one, I would really like to focus on creating contrast and that exciting factor. For me, I saw that in your pictures, Alissa of especially the bird that was made from splashes and also the splashing on the rocks. Both of those just were very exciting I thought. Thank you so much both of you for sharing this. I would love to take more 19:10 classes but it’s a time factor for me. I really feel like I have an hour and a half a day during the week that I can try to relax or do something and generally I don’t have the energy to do art at that point. Weekends are busy as well but I’m figuring it out.❤

Alissa’s botanicals and portraits are amazing!
Looking forward to joining Spark in a week or two soon as I recover from tomorrow’s eye surgery.

Love this video so much! I'm a huge watercolor fan and I love to dabble with painting here and there. Danny, your voice is so soothing and every video that you make inspires me. I just bought both of your books, a sketchbook, pens, and a few fun art-y items and I can't wait to start my sketchbook. I'm also seriously considering trying a Sketchbook Skool beginner course. Thank you so much! 🥰❤🎨🖌📒

Love the Splish Splash watercolours. Very inspiring! On another note, did I imagine that there were two intros to this video?

It is good to listen the experiences of others about journaling.

My biggest goal this past week is to find a decent sketchbook to begin florals and watercolor…wasting so much money…keep getting unusable paper or wrong size…too big…any recommendations?

Buy your favorite paper, make your own sketchbook in the size you like.

Moleskin Watercolour Notebook is quite well liked by many artists I know. The paper has a little texture, but not too much, so it won’t be too hard on your pens. It handles acrylic paint and gouache paint really well. In my (limited) experience, the pages buckle a little with watercolor. I think it adds character. Plus this is a sketchbook, not a finished masterpiece, so pristine pages aren’t necessary. Washes, glazes…I have been pretty happy with it so far.

Is Alissa still teaching on Spark? The link to her classes doesn’t seem to work.

The title of this video is deceiving. It’s a lot about the artist and classes but not enough about “how to start a floral sketchbook.” 😒
