Ikr, that's what you would expect considering how this song is handled in most rhythm games. Looks like it's just been treated like any other song instead of making it crazy difficult, which is fine, but a little anticlimatic I guess :p
Thinking about picking this game up and the addition of freedom dive makes it even more tempting. I have a few questions for you if you don't mind answering. First, do you play on a tatacon or a dualshock 4, and if you play on a tatacon how does that compare to the dualshock (in terms of playability and how fun the game is), or if you play on a dualshock do you have any issues that you think may be relieved by the tatacon? Secondly, is this game worth it if I've already bought Drum'n'fun for the Switch? Drum Session just seems to have a larger and better library in my opinion, as well as online ranking, events and customization options. Nice video btw!
Thank you! I'm playing this game with the dualshock 4 only, I don't actually own a tatacon. And it works really well, it's responsive and feels good to play, I'd say the only downside of playing with a controller is that it makes it really difficult to play the very fast charts (like Mada Saitama or Infinite Rebellion among others), since your thumbs can only go so fast. But you can definitely FC a large majority of the songs with a controller. For your second question, I'd say that it is worth it just for the song list alone, which has a lot of really good songs and more difficult ones as well. Just keep in mind that at this point, most of the songs in the game are dlcs, so you'll have to pay a little bit more if you're looking for certain songs. Here's a list of what's been released so far : taikotime.blogspot.com/2017/07/taiko-no-tatsujin-ps4-additional.html
I always get a bad in the same part (k k kkd spam) but when I pass that part somehow, I get another bad after that... I’ve been grinding on this song for WEEKS. Wish me luck :)
@@faeremanToo bad The Drum Master! didn't have a Hori TaTacon *probably because BANDAI NAMCO didn't want to waste time as the XBOX isn't a popular console in Japan
Full combos like that are possible with lots of practice in rhythm games, it can be frustrating at first but if they keep pushing, anything is possible!
@@Jgzv I got that one on the day it was released, probably around 5 or 6 tries if I remember correctly. I was expecting something crazy difficult at first so as soon as I realized the FC was doable I just went for it lol
@@Jgzv I do have a lot of experience with these games at this point, and on top of that I was very familiar with a much harder chart of this song in Project Diva :p

I mean, there's not much to it besides playing a lot, and stepping out of your comfort zone every now and then (aka playing songs harder than what you're used to). Slowly getting yourself used to the harder stuff will help building up muscle memory for all kind of patterns.
Nice catch ! That's because the game mutes some of the songs when I use the in-game video capture, so I had to add the song myself afterwards, which happened to be a slightly different version.
I try to come back to it every so often but I don't really like the way it feels compared to the real thing. Maybe when I run out of things to do in this game I might consider it :p
@BlazingBlace Oh I do use the skin whenever I play, it's more about the gameplay that feels a little off compared to the real thing. I still enjoy playing it every so often, just not as much :p
Osu!Taiko is very off-putting for those that's used to the real thing. Namely that hitting a Don when a Ka is in place count as a miss (this more resembles Project Diva and less actual Taiko) so arrangements are impossible, and chart lane are way larger than the official versions, making things harder to see

Pretty fun to play ! Though honestly I thought it would be much harder

Oh no it's by Xi! The ultimate boss of rhythm games.
And the full combo is 2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2. How was this somewhat expected?
Namco and their love for easter eggs :p

I dunno why this isn't on Drum n' Fun tbh.
Wow I like it!!!!
I’m not sure how any one could do this on an Xbox controller. This is insane
Yeah I can see the issue, the Xbox d-pad really doesn't seem like a good fit for rhythm games
