As soon as the song started music-ing instead of video-ing I could hear the Russkaja influence! Such an identifiable sound!
There is no song that would make me feel more alive and dead at the same moment like this one
LOL at all the elitists giving it a thumbs down for daring to include someone like Russkaja in a SERIOUS METAL VIDEO! Loved this, primarily because it shows that Grave Digger are 100% self-aware and having fun with it, which is one of the best outlooks a metal group can have in my humble opinion.

To be fair, regarding Gravedigger a "serious" metal band is a bit of a stretch. Sure, most of their songs are meant to be serious and they had some really hard hitting good ones on serious topics like e.g. Heart of Darkness, but they also always had a lot of very over the top cheesy stuff that's hard to take serious and their bad English and/or the singer's bad pronounciation often makes their lyrics involuntarily comical. I'm glad to see a video like this in which they really own the cheese factor of their work and have fun with it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan, I have seen them live and I have bought most of their albums, I love their work for what it is, but if you want to take it dead serious, you really need to turn a blind eye to a lot of flaws.
I can't stop laughing. It sure is not the Grave Digger I expected, but I love it.

This is not a crossover I ever expected to see. Speechless. Quite comedic and catchy.
People need to pull their heads out of their asses yes its different and tongue in cheek . But not everything in metal needs to be serious all the time there's room to have fun.

I read on latest Rock Hard France interview (May 2020), that Chris was upset with the reaction of "some" Grave Digger's fans regarding Zombie Dance ... Well, let me tell you Chris that this video is one of the best I have seen for ages, and even though Thriller (MJ) is not that far away, the humor and the song are amazing. I am not a fan of Polka, but this one is top-notch. Last but not least, Chris looks to be a hell of a good actor, and may be he should consider presenting the 20h00 News in Germany, I am sure he would make a killing. A 30 years Grave Digger fan. Can't wait to hear the new album. Hail Grave Digger !!

Well, while Russkaja are from Austria, they were formed by Russian-speaking post-Soviet immigrats, who are usually broadly spoken of as Russians, so he's not that far off.
