Another nice walk Billy, Its quite funny how so close you get to me sometimes. I'm only 10 minutes walk to Wentworth Park myself now that I live in Pyrmont. Glebe, I've been through a few times but not for about 6 or 7 years. I just love Sydney, the old and the new, you know some of those new buildings at Railway Square going down Broadway are less the 10 years old, I was able to watch a lot of them being built from the balcony of my unit on the 14th floor when I lived in Redfern. Its interesting to note just how many apartment buildings got built on the old brewery site. That area is really starting to look really good and can tell its quite popular.
    Cheers from Pyrmont.

Haha - yep one day I’ll walk your street Craig .
Broadway sure has changed a lot , when I used to live in Glebe about around 2000 - 2002 I used to walk past the old brewery every day on my way to central to get to work .
The buildings on the left heading north just past Broadway shopping centre used to be all squats that had an art gallery , living areas and a party / venue space.
It is all as apartments now but they luckily kept a lot of the old facade.
the old brewery itself used to smell of hops and barley every morning .
One of my friends worked on a demolition crew knocking parts down.
It’s funny you say you could see them being built from Redfern as I once had a job installing art works into the penthouse suits of the new apartments with the greenery all over them for ( for display viewing / selling purposes) - the views were amazing - each one with a different angle - I liked the one that looked east and south over Redfern etc.
They were not that great inside though.
They also go pretty deep underground with loads of parking and storage facilities etc.
The park out the back area is a nice open green space that is a good spot for chilling out or having a meal break etc.
      Cheers again for watching Craig
      Stay well 🙂

This walks starts in China town in the Haymarket neighbourhood in central Sydney before heading onto Broadway then onto Glebe point road before going through some back streets of Glebe and ending up at Wentworth park that borders Ultimo and Pyrmont neighbourhoods.
