@@jawalbert7788 Defender is okay if you have low risk uses. It doesn't have advanced features such as network attack protection, intrusion detection, ect. We use ESET Internet Security.
One of the best videos ever on computer security, thank you so much. I ran Tron, and my computer is much faster now, obviously it was full of malware before. The scan took about 12 hours, much of it owing to a defrag which lasted about 4 hours. It´s good to know that I can now defend myself from the baddies.

I ran this program on 2 laptops. A Sony and a HP. It ran flawlessly and improved the performance on both laptops. The Sony was over 10 years old and the HP was 6 years old. Thanks very much. Only problem I see is that somehow Windows thinks I have a SSD, so it wouldn’t defrag the hard drive. Super happy with whoever took the time to make this program. Thanks again.
@@attah9633 I don't remember the exact time but I would estimate about 1.5 to 2.5 hours.i started it and checked it every 30 minutes or so It shows you what it is doing and the time. Just start it and be patient. It worked great for me. Some parts took a lot longer than otjers.

My memory usage had been peaking for a while and then recently I installed 16GB more RAM. Even after doubling my initial 16GB my usage % during regular activities and gaming stayed at the same amount even with the added RAM. This caused me to fail to load into ranked matches of games I play and loss of performance in general. I followed everything in this video and found a trojan that is generally used for transmitting ransomware that was affecting my memory. I believe the disinfection and "Cure" worked and my pc seems to be doing much better. This was for windows 11. Thank you so much for this video!

This saved my computer of some nasty malware tht was preventing me from connecting to the internet after 5 minutes. i was getting DDosed or somethign and as soon as Tron ran Rkill it fixed my problem. THANK YOU NICO
I'm not going to lie to you bud, this script worked well and I love it considering it helped debloat my pre-bought PC from 2 years ago. However, now whenever I plug in the same external USB drives that have been plugged in and remained working, one of which contains movies for a plex server, both now cut in and out. This is especially annoying when doing a file transfer. Perhaps the script did something to the USB ports such as an automated off and on that I was not made aware of... And if so is there anyway to fix it?

Gosh I've been a little naughty and downloaded a game. I got scared cause the download was gone so I thought damn, got myself a virus. Now I have no clue if I had the message "managed by your organization" before the tron scan or because of the scan. So I've been busy for 2 weeks trying to remove that message cause windows defender says to take action but when I trie to delete it or quarantine it, it doesn't do it. Hijacked file win32 host or something like that. Now I hear you say that the organization is me. That tron did this. I've run tron again and it doesn't say I have a virus or anything wrong but my windows defender keeps saying yes there's a problem. Omg what the heck is going on?! I'm a noob so I really don't know what I'm doing 😅 1 lesson is learned, I'm never again going to try to get a game for free. I've bought the game now haha

You should turn on file extensions! One thing I DON'T like about Tron, is that if it updates the Tron, it OVERWRITES the custom setting you made to Tron!
This looks very useful, as it seems to include almost all of the individual tools I use (and constantly need to update) on clients' PCs. First run (run as admin) on this PC and it threw a boat load of "can not open access denied" flags during the initial unzip / install. It still attempts to run though, in Rkill as I type this... we'll see.

Right click the start button and then click Powershell (Admin). On the Powershell command line, paste: Set-MpPreference -DisableRealtimeMonitoring $false Hit enter. Close Powershell. This should manually re-enable defender.

you really helped me man, my browser kept auto closing whenever i type "malwarebytes" or any antivirus software and even if i have an anti-virus software installed on my machine it auto closes by itself so i had to manually boot up the stage 3 folder softwares or something and it never auto closed it again. i would like to thank you for this and i hope you have a great day!

Got this virus where there will be an application that will automatically open named "snake". It slows down my pc after a few hours. After doing this repair. It does not show anymore. Thank you very much man! Big help
havent notice much of a change after trying this out on my laptop. but final report says i gained at least 2mb space on my disk but mostly happy that my disk is cleaned up from malwares . might as well try this on my desktop too to see the difference. thanks!!

I haven't run the repair yet I just have a few questions. 1. Is it necessary to run in safe mode? (I saw a comment where someone had an issue cos he didn't run in safe mode. 2. Is there a shorter version of this that I can ran often, say every 6 months just to clear cache and other unwanted temp files and also check and possibly perform quick fixes? I know of a couple like "sfc" but I just wanna know if there's more. 2. After running the script, I can't perform "DICTATION" windows 10 anymore. There's a note, " some of these settings are managed by your organisation" and it's grayed out so I can't turn it back on. I googled it and it had to do with Windows Telemetry that was probably disabled by the script. Is there a way to turn just that single task back on? 3. During the process, I realized my internet got disconnected and I figured it was because of the Network reset that happened. After everything I tried logging back in with my credentials and it couldn't connect. (It's the school's WiFi so everyone has a unique username and password) But I'm just gonna run the troubleshooter and see if I find something useful. 4. I commented on your video about this and I thought that it wouldn't work because it restarted on me and I got scared but when I opened it again and run it, it all runs smoothly and restarted again. At the 2nd restart and runs tron it finishes everything at stage 4 and complete everything. Now my laptop runs smoothly again and the annoying files in windows/temp are gone and not causing 100% cpu and ram. Thanks to this guide

You should turn on file extensions! One thing I DON'T like about Tron, is that if it updates the Tron, it OVERWRITES the custom setting you made to Tron!

This looks very useful, as it seems to include almost all of the individual tools I use (and constantly need to update) on clients' PCs. First run (run as admin) on this PC and it threw a boat load of "can not open access denied" flags during the initial unzip / install. It still attempts to run though, in Rkill as I type this... we'll see.

Hello, Nico. I've recently found your channel in hopes of optimizing my Acer laptop better. I followed your steps and I'm currently in the rkill part of the Tron script. I noticed that in your video, yours took minutes while mine is almost 10 minutes in. Should I restart the whole process?

What does tronscript do if Malwarebytes is already installed?
It skips "Install malwarebytes" and continues. It runs 4 other scanners as well.

Thanks a lot ! Thought my PC might have been infected cause the fans were always at 100% when no programs opened, and suddenly stopped every time I was opening the task manager. Now the fans are pretty chill all the time so I guess it worked ;)

Do you have a detection name by chance? I have likely encountered it before and can share a solution that would remedy it quick and easy.
Right click the start button and then click Powershell (Admin). On the Powershell command line, paste: Set-MpPreference -DisableRealtimeMonitoring $false
Hit enter. Close Powershell. This should manually re-enable defender.

you really helped me man, my browser kept auto closing whenever i type "malwarebytes" or any antivirus software and even if i have an anti-virus software installed on my machine it auto closes by itself so i had to manually boot up the stage 3 folder softwares or something and it never auto closed it again. i would like to thank you for this and i hope you have a great day!

Got this virus where there will be an application that will automatically open named "snake". It slows down my pc after a few hours. After doing this repair. It does not show anymore. Thank you very much man! Big help
havent notice much of a change after trying this out on my laptop. but final report says i gained at least 2mb space on my disk but mostly happy that my disk is cleaned up from malwares . might as well try this on my desktop too to see the difference. thanks!!

Thank You very much for this Nico! I have been having performance issues with my laptop since I bought it 2 years back and I'm pretty sure I got a virus hidden somewhere causing this. I haven't run the repair yet I just have a few questions.
1. Is it necessary to run in safe mode? (I saw a comment where someone had an issue cos he didn't run in safe mode.
2. Should I disable my antivirus before I begin the process?
3. Would I encounter a problem if the version of my windows isn't activated? Thanks!
@@myst4706 Thanks a mil! I did as you said and everything is working fine now! I'm really grateful. I still have a couple of questions tho.
1. Is there a shorter version of this that I can ran often, say every 6 months just to clear cache and other unwanted temp files and also check and possibly perform quick fixes? I know of a couple like "sfc" but I just wanna know if there's more.
2. After running the script, I can't perform "DICTATION" windows 10 anymore. There's a note, " some of these settings are managed by your organisation" and it's grayed out so I can't turn it back on. I googled it and it had to do with Windows Telemetry that was probably disabled by the script. Is there a way to turn just that single task back on?
3. During the process, I realized my internet got disconnected and I figured it was because of the Network reset that happened. After everything I tried logging back in with my credentials and it couldn't connect. (It's the school's WiFi so everyone has a unique username and password) But I'm just gonna run the troubleshooter and see if I find something useful.
4. Lastly, how different ... oh okay, I just googled it. I'm fine for now.😂🤗

I commented on your video about this and I thought that it wouldn't work because it restarted on me and I got scared but when I opened it again and run it, it all runs smoothly and restarted again. At the 2nd restart and runs tron it finishes everything at stage 4 and complete everything. Now my laptop runs smoothly again and the annoying files in windows/temp are gone and not causing 100% cpu and ram. Thanks to this guide
This was a miracle ngl great vid my pc had trojan and the person had access to some of my data and tron literally wiped it off my computer
