- In this video I travel to Toronto, Canada with Electrolit to try out for the Scarborough Shooting Stars! A Professional basketball organization in the CEBL. This is my first time ever doing a pro tryout/workout! Hope you guys enjoy this one because we had a great time with some really great people! Enjoy!

Jermaine (J) Cole appeared in 5 games in the EFBL, while averaging 2.6 PPG.
I was there in Montreal when they faced off against the Montreal Alliance. His three-point ahooting was decent; but defensively, Cole wasn't cut for the job.

Tristan, I'm proud of you. 35 years ago I pursued my dream of playing professional basketball and went to Germany and tried out for some teams. Got on a lower level Bundesliga team one level under where I could have got paid. The problem was they can only have one foreigner on their teams. I was good enough to play for the upper level teams, but they usually had some huge foreign guy ( I was 5' 9") , so it just didn't work out, but I had a lot of fun and I made friends for life. You are better than I was. You clearly showed you can play with these guys. Hopefully they will call you. Keep pursuing it. You will kick yourself when you get older if you don't.
You played Pro A or Pro B?
TJass is the man, but remember, even without making a team he has built an incredible brand and a career. Having said that, I’d love to see you make a pro team too.
@@domik515 I don't know about A or B. My Friends were on a level 3 Team and got paid. . Guys like Dirk Nowitzki were level 1. I was on a level 4 team. Really below my skill level, but I was hoping to move up. Ended up going home after 4 months though.

Reason why I respect TJass so much is because he is always patient, when it comes to the ball, making teams or tryouts, and most important, when getting into arguments, he talks with the ball, not his 👊🏼

I’ve watched quite a few of your videos, this is the most quality Contant you’ve ever put out. Showing what it takes just to be semi-pro And even having the coach very passive aggressively say that you can’t play defense was pretty good 3:04 jk lol

Jass would definitely sell some tickets. But the camera work in this video is super rough and shaky - A wide angle lens and a gimbal can do wonders for video quality.

T, I noticed that shooting elbow on your misses is coming up too fast. Its more like your upper body isn't in sync with your lower body at times. That is the only time you miss. Great try out btw.

@@marcuswoods1195I think he could've gone to ncaa and then could have played pro in g league or overseas but he just made more money from making videos so he made that choice, which is understandable. I'm sure he'd make this Canadian team but I don't know if it'd be worth it for him financially. ,
@DailyNihilism he's not quite g league level i don't think to physical in that league. Skill wise he can hang almost anywhere tho

Although even then if a g league team did offer him a spot they don't pay a lot so he'd only want to do that if he could make the NBA which is just not happening (no insult he knows how great he is). But he makes good money doing what he's already doing I think.

Tjass for real tho play like a D2 probably D1 Player. Probably won't make it to the NBA ofcourse or G-league, but definitely has potential to play in an overseas league as a level 3 player.
