Hi Thomas - amazing episode! And finally my Guitar Dealer No.1 Gregor made it to your show. BTW - he was the one who sold me my amp1 (Silver Edition) in 2016 - and this amp still works superb and I´m sure it will be used until the end.....And together with the Les Paul´s I bought from Gregor there is my killer Blues Sound! Keep on your inspiring work! Greetings from Hamm/Westfalen UWE
Tolle Folge!
You're really one of the unsung heroes of European rock guitar, Sir. Your playing is literally jaw-dropping, not only in terms of technical skill, buy also in terms of intensity and passion. To me, you've taken the place of Gary Moore - his playing had many of the qualities you display. Greetings from Poland! All the best, Thomas!
Another entertaining and informative episode with 'Paul's Blues' from your great Best of CD as the Intro. It's always a pleasure to hear the sound of the best guitars and amps. But ultimately, it also requires talented hands and fingers. It's great to hear that you will be playing with JJN (a promising 'Young Wilder' 😃) at the Guitar Summit. Last but not least: I'm extremely envy for that selfie with JoBo 😮.
Thanks for watching this episode on the iconic Les Paul and the Tones you can achieve with it. I was so busy with all the players and details that I forgot my personal top 10 ranking. So here it is: 1) Jimmy Page 2) Peter Green 3) Gary Moore 4) John Sykes 5) Paul Kossoff 6) David Gilmour (another brick in the wall solo Tone and phrasing) 7) Randy Rhodes 8) Billy Gibbons 9) Dickey Betts 10) Slash … but of course I’m torn!!! So many great Les Paul players!!! Might change tomorrow… 😂 Feel free to share your top 10 here, so we all get inspiration 😊! Cheers, Thomas P.s Big Thanks to Gregor Hilden & Oliver Hartmann for their insights on their favorite players and sounds.
Thomas another killer intro show solo! 👍☝👏 I would like to add a couple more Les Paul Players, Frampton, Dave Meniketti of Y&T and Rickey Medlocke and Charlie Haggert of Blackfoot.
Hi Thomas amazing work and amazing products, i use first generation amp1 with remote 1, i am a life long boogie user so i am used to tweaking lol to get my tone. I am not able to get the classic channel up to the same volume as the other 3 channels no matter how i tweek it when i get it equalized i loose my tone, to date i use clean, vintage with peddles to cover blues to classic rock , modern for heavy, any suggestions would be great, your products are amazing i have gigged with amp1 it kicks ass thanks in advance
There’s the Classic Volume on the side: turn this up! In case it is not louder as Modern, maybe that control is faulty. If so please make a video that shows Classic Volume on full and then switch to Vintage and send it to service@bluguitar.com We then give you further information on how you can get it repaired
@@BluGuitar the volume control on the side works but doesn't get quite loud enough to match the others, I have done presets in remote 1 with the master volume and can work around it that way but for what I use that amp for, mostly blues, classic rock it still functions great . I just did know if that was a common issue with the first units . Love your playing and love your products, I love showing up to shows and blowing people's minds with that little amp, thanks again Thomas

Nice to hear from Greg and his back story. I have enjoyed his playing/tones going back almost 10 years when I found his YT channel demoing guitars.
Impressive top 10 and many of my favorite LP players on it. As you mention, Tom Scholz is up there and would be in my top 10.

Need a John Sykes Iridium tone settings. 😉 That intro song was sick, Thomas. Wish we had flea market like that in NC!

Gott hab ihn seelig🙏❤️

Another great is Gary Richrath formerly of REO Speedwagon.
