THANK YOU
We're just getting started!
I 100% agree
@@starterstory this is an awesome start and it's gonna get better just. keep producing such quality content, ❤️
O.o Unfortunately, he doesn't practice good posture by not using his laptop at eye level. Lol 💀. That's very common, unfortunately. Aside from that, great stuff! Hehe. I was born and raised in infamous Miami, FL, USA, and thankfully live away from all three of those places. Lol. I've been in the Philippines, and looking to move pretty soon.
:3 Yes, exactly, just hit many with a DM, and see who bites. Twitter allows like 2k messages a day per account.
This channel is gonna be huge the interviewer is asking ALL THE RIGHT QUESTIONS such a relief
KEEP PRODUCING CONTENT LIKE THIS! THIS IS SO VALUABLE! LOVE IT!!

Greatest video on all of RUclips. We basically have the same story but for me it was with photography a few years back! The level of like mindedness is crazy. Can't tell you how glad I was to click on this
Great advice, really enjoyed this interview 👏 found you through TikTok - keep up the inspiring stories!

honestly, this man has brought quality and informative content on youtube. He is going to be a successfull youtuber!!
i am sure he will interview me someday :)
The best thing about Scott is that the video isn't about him, he completely focuses on the entrepreneur and no bs of his own
When Pat allowed us to feature our story on his website, we were so humbled 🙏
Had a great time chopping it up with ya!
Legend 🫡 Thank you.
Hey there Scott. You built a great business here. Can you mention the coach who helped you figure things out?

When I watch these videos I’m like holy shit… this is free??
came from the short form stuff 🤝✅
I like how these are evolving from the tiktoks/short-form media. Also this guy is awesome. Clearly knows his shit but humble enough to share 🤙
Thanks Ronit. Scott is the GOAT!
Appreciate you - gonna be posting a lot more if you wanna follow along
That was awesome! Very well put together 👌🏽Would love to do a collab
What were you thinking?
ARE U KIDDING ME!?!?
Flight of the Conchords @12:20!?!?….. FLIPPIN AWESOME !!!

Thank you! We're gonna take this format to a whole new level. New videos every Monday hit that bell!!
@@starterstory what's your Instagram?
Wise kid. Lot's to learn from him.
Appreciate you tuning in!
The advice on packaging your skill set over selling the service is sikkkk
Thinking of doing the same?
Do it and never look back
@starterstory I currently operate a wrap shop so not sure how I can incorporate the concept to the business. However I'm starting a product-based business because it's more scalable
@@gsgcarreviews You're on the right track because product based has high leverage as long as you can get past the initial start up cost and managing inventory
@@gsgcarreviews wrap shop like car wrap? simple: 2 Door car wrap $xxx, 4 door car $xxx, etc.
Just amazing to see Wolverine doing so well in business
Bro's literally a Digital Wolverine! 🔥
LMAOOOO

Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it 😁
What did you like about it?
Hey can you ask him which course he recommends? I would love to know which course he took.
Great vídeo want to do video editing myself only have davinci resolve but will try my best
I'm coming out with a course soon, sub to stay updated
DR is an incredible program even with just the free version. Plenty of solid RUclips videos out there to help you get started!
Great video, bro is sitting like it's a photoshoot though lol
😂
Great video content but a tripod and manual exposure throughout might help!
Glad he’s kept busy since “Wolverine”.
This is amazing. Thanks for sharing. I noticed, that it seems that in order for you to make $50K a month, you can achieve that much easily by doing videos, or manage ads for companies. If you are a web developer, or software engineer or designer, it's much much harder to break even the $10K a month, let alone get $50K even you are an agency, unless you also sell software that is being used by big companies.
I guess it is as what they say, attention is the currency of the 21st century. Anything that pulls people from the social medias -> your product = $
So it's not really about your product, or how good it is.
I wouldn't say it's easy, I've been doing videos since 2016 and it takes a good amount of experience - the reason it works with videos is because its fixed scope compared to custom development work
this is a total limiting belief....there's a guy called Brett Williams who does 7 figures as a one person design agency. Starter Story even did a video on him.
just curios to know does Scott have any mentoring / coaching programs? id also love to know who he got coached by..
Nice video and good information, how I can contact the videography guy

Good 1
12:19 That music is either Flight of the Conchords or it was copied from them.
Great show.
I've been thinking of this exact business idea for over 6 months, (providing video production services to SAAS, as SAAS is growing faster than ever before, ai stuff etc) , i don't know, why i just dotn do it😑. Maybe, i don't have a lot of time as im already doing a remote job.
Do it you won't (you'll have to compete with me though)
I’m in the same part of life he was at where he was non-directional with videography. What coaching did he do to help find direction?
Look up Client Ascension
the valley girl inflection is strong in this one.
What if you are good at your passion? Often your passion comes easy to you. That's why you like doing it. I suspect that he has to redefine the word passion, I think video and entrepreneurship are his passion!
Or maybe even person freedom

@scottcmillard on all platforms
@@scottmillard Thanks!
I thought this guy would have like 300k followers
The big issue with this business model is that it is very hard to automate and make passive. You have to be in constant communication with your clients and team. The marketing departments tend to want to be very controlling and neurotic
The big issue is that being a spoiled snowflake that finds big issue with actually needing to work to earn money is gonna be a big issue in actually earning money 😂
@@chill29394 if you can't make money in your sleep, is it really worth your time
@@jayzg60 yes, yes it is.
@@jayzg60 then just put your money into stocks that pays dividends.
If YOU can automate it, anyone can automate it.
That's why dropshipping is no longer really a viable business, because anyone can do it.
Yea, please show me that you have an automated business that gives you money while you sleeping!
What video editing software do you need to know how to use to make these types of SaaS videos?
Not sure... I'll ask Scott.
@@starterstory I found the answer it’s all Adobe:
Illustrator
Premiere
After Effects
Yeah, Adobe After effects and Premiere pro
@@scottmillardcould you also share mentors that gave you good direction? And congrats on success awesome stuff🎉
Did starter story actually check this guys numbers ?
His website doesn’t even seem to be working
So did he dropout of college or not?
👍👍👍
A more detailed video, please
Will try. Thanks for watching 👍
One person business with 4 people. Sure!
$2500 for a 20 second clip. Wow.
2:24 it’s Andrew Tate himself haha
Got my comment removed because I pointed out this guys business might not be real, or at least I could find it...
his website doesn't work 🤦♂
He said he was broke earning 50k a year lmfao
I know, what an idiot.
That’s decent tbh
If you have a car, you’re not broke 🤷♂️
Tell him to get his foot off the coffee table.
What’s blowing my mind is that the people ordering it can get it on fiverrr for like $150 but they’re too lazy 😂
This is fundamentally not true, we are addressing customer pain points for a different kind of buyer than the one that would get a video on freelance sites for $150 - plus, those video are terrible quality in the first place
Fiverrr is trash. I can’t tell you how many times if had clients come to me to fix one of those projects. Usually the client has their tail between their legs and says hey can you fix this?
@@scottmillard I’ve been in video production professionally for 15 years, anyone can have this made by a graphic artist for a small fraction of what you’re charging.
@@Guitarlvr01 Then go do it
@@scottmillard lol seeing that guys comment pissed me off. Bro I just watched this whole interview and I’m creeped out by the similarities, especially when you said “I just got back from a week in California” because I literally just got back from a week trip in Santa Cruz visiting my uncle haha! I’d love to connect sometime if you are down. Otherwise I really appreciated this man, I’m around $12k per month rn so I got some work to do to catch up to you lol.
Hi bro,
U need attractive RUclips thumbnail designer?
You are attractive.
their website is showing error404 and this comment will get deleted
Of course he is out sourcing. This is what is actively destroying the creative industry in the US driving rates down
Could you explain this comment? I'm honestl y just curious how this works
@@PhilipClyde They do 20 - 60 second short form videos for social channels. They don't shoot any video for this. It's basically stock video, photos, client supplied screenshots mixed with text animation. I venture to say most of the animations are pulled from templates. Branding is usually supplied by the client. The work is done in countries that have inexpensive labour. Think $5 - $10 per hour for a very experienced animator. Once you work out a process from initial sales funnel to delivery combined with the cheap production staff you can run a fairly profitable business assuming you book enough clients.
It will be interesting to see how they do in a couple of years once generative AI platforms are integrated with design platforms. Canva, Adobe and Microsoft are all working on solution in that field targeting social channels.
I turned it off when instead of helping and employing his friends and fellow Americans he outsourced the work to children in foreign countries. This is the the problem with American today we applaud people like this for using labor exploits for their personal gain.
yeah this dude is a leech
Why do you assume they’re children? Did he explicitly say that in the video?
And I don’t see what’s wrong with hiring people from other countries. Everyone deserves a chance and some countries have way less opportunities to get any type of job. Nothing is stopping Americans from building their own businesses or leveling up their skills to get higher paying jobs.
@@blairmackenzie898 What's stopping them, is the difference in cost of living. Both of you are right, and both of you can do nothing about it because rising tide (global economy) lifts all boats.
@@Nightman-eb8mj We can do nothing about what?
If you said minimum package is 2500$ why you did sell a 400$ package? 12:41 I think you are a lambo guru as well
Follow what you're good at and what you love doing 👌🤡
Damn! I’ve been scaling my business. And this is some solid gold advice!
