I would add at least 4 more fans to the DH kiln. I had to do that to get good airflow through the stack. A hand held wind meter will help you know when you have good air flow between the layers.
Thanks for the feedback Brad! we noticed that as well based on where the moisture meters were located that it wasn't getting an even airflow so we did install two more fans which seams to be working much better but may install another one or two. Airflow is key!
