  • BLOWER MOTOR FAN WEAK. LOW AIR FLOW FIX
If your heater blower motor fan is weak and it does not blow hard even when it is on high we will explain how to fix that. If you experience low air flow from your blower motor the most common thing that goes out is the blower motor resistor. If you have faulty blower motor resistor you may experience low air flow and the heater ac fan not blowing hard. When blower motor resistor startS going out you may experience low air flow on really hot day or after you had the fan on for a long time.

What about a blower motor that starts at the right speed then decreases on its own

Thank you for the video. My hyundai Santafe's ac (cool/heat) works fine. I have recently noticed that sometimes I can hear the fan responding to the fan speed knob normally but the air from vents is so weak and I hear like the air is being leaked somewhere inside above the glove box. My cabin filter is new and it makes no difference if I run the fan without a filter too. Can you please advice what could be the issue ?

    Help me out please!
2018 dodge journey gt. Replaced rear blower and resistor, works perfect!
Front of vehicle hvac system does not have a resistor, relay is good, fuses are good and replaced blower motor. Speed 7 doesn’t work but speed 6 works very well. Any suggestions?

Thanks. My fan in my 2019 jeep grand cherokee just stopped putting out good air. I can tell the switch still controls different air flows, but it feels like each setting is running at half the speed it should. I'll check the resistor block first. Cheers.

Thank you. Have you any idea when the blower motor works only on first, second, third, but not on fourth?

You have to take out the blower motor, dis-assemble it and spray wd40

I replaced the blower motor and dash hvac control panel. The vent actuators seem to be working properly. When selected air flow only comes from selected vents. FOR A MACK TRUCK. what am I missing ? The blower resister is built into the blower which I replaced

Hello, my ac blows on the driver side fine but on the passenger side it barely blows out even on the highest setting. Same thing with the ac vents in the back as well. The ac is warm too barely gets cold. Will this solve my problem?

The heater resitor and the heater motor are next to each other. The resitor looks like a small switch the motor is usually about 6 inches round and is under the dashboard.

Ok guys…I have a good question for you. I have a 2005 Pontiac grand am 3.4L.
I was experiencing low air flow and decided to change the blower motor and resistor at the same time. Both brand new parts. It worked ok for a few days but I noticed the same thing happening…it starts out good with strong airflow at setting 5….5 being the highest.
Within 15 minutes of my commute I notice the airflow cuts down and reduces. I’m not sure how much but 50% is accurate I’m sure. I changed out the resistor with a brand new one, so my question is,
Is there another way other than a bad resistor that would make the airflow reduce on its own, mid commute? Would a bad relay do that?
