So whos here for the Original, 90ies version, the one where lyrics and music matches in energy? No shade on the remix but this is something they got it right the first time. The remix adds to the original but i cannot lose track of how the original still hits home like a freight train.
I was happy for them to see this song become so popular, but I had already owned their album "I am not a doctor" when that happened, and I have always liked the original version much better. I think it's a shame hardly anybody knows the original, let alone that this is just a remix.
Q. Is the original version the one that’s on the album? I am looking to pick that album up on vinyl soon. Want to have the original mix, so that would be really good. Thanks Adrian.
@@mike_burke Indeed. On the album it's the original. This dance remix was only released one year after they released "I am not a doctor". But be cautious: It would be a very uncommon thing to do but maybe they switched the versions on the album as well when the remix had become such a success. Probably not - all I'm saying is: I can only guarantee that it was the original when I bought the Album in 1998 😅
