Two of the best right there. Master harmony singers, great songwriters and the highest quality humans.
Butter! So Good!
I have always said, I have a 12inch version of relax, from 1984
i never knew about the original song on channell 4,and i think its the best version of the lot, although that first video looks pretty wild,im sure they all had a great time that night LOl
Yea… such majesty music can be written by very humble persons only!
It's used as a walking song. And it is also the best dance song ever too! The spirit and the body dance together with this heavenly music. It has a lot of meaning too, when I listen to the lyrics closely. Gives me encouragement. Gives me Strength with the music together. Could not feel more energized than ever!!!!!!! It comes from heaven. It saves many lives too! People use Stayin' Alive to perform the CPR for people suffering heart attacks because the song's beat matches perfectly with the speed/pace/rate/frequency (whatever word it is) of doing the CPR. And the "Ah, Ha, Ha, Ha" part of Stayin' Alive makes it very clear to guide the beat/pace to revive a person's heart!!!! How wonderful it is!!!!!!! I am amazed by this forever. The Bee Gees music really comes from God and His Kingdom of Heaven, preaching the Gospel to the world, sharing God's Love with men, saving lives, making our lives much fruitful😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗🤗☀️🌈🌟🙏🏻💪🏻🤠❤️
This song defined a decade. 80s were the best.
Thank you for posting this.wonderful video. I did not know that Kate Bush had her poem to Emily Bronte carved into Ogden Kirk, on the stones in the hills of Yorkshire...just beautiful. "She stands outside A book in her hands “Her name is Cathy”, she says “I have carried her so far, so far Along the unmarked road from our graves I cannot reach this window Open it, I pray.” But his window is a door to a lonely world That longs to play. Ah Emily. Come in, come in and stay." wow what a stunning performance
Mine is not going to be a fantasy soon
Was 12
Its simply TIMELESS ❤😊
I was a teenager in 1984 when this came out. I never knew that the lads didn't play on this song.
❤
this is definitely one of my all time favourites, definitely in the top 10,just simply f. king amazing,f..king amazing,
Genius move
what a great song! I always loved The Pointer Sisters.
I mean really, who the hell is better than Rory?
What the song is about is irrelevant... It's just a fantastically produced piece of art, produced by the one and only Trevor Horn, one of the best producers of our time. Although he has gone on to admit that he was coked out of his head when he was producing all of that awesome ZTT music... But hey ho, so was Bowie when he was at his best, not to mention a shitload of other artists. Coke and making music can produce some great stuff, but it can also produce shite... see Be Here Now by Oasis...😂😂😂
Omd the young one were a riot
This is so cool
I saw them live in New York City a good number of years ago.
I came from Merseyside in the late 70s and early eighties, there was loads of jobs, people had just become lazy. I’m now 62 and worked ever day of my working life 🫡👍🏻🇬🇧
But, but, but, was I the only one who understodo this song as cynical critique to than long lasting roomor about the treat, the fear, they spred on the news about big political tensions between certain countries which woul cause one of the big two to push the button for a nuclear missiles war?????😅😅 Jesss, I was 18 than and so serious.
Tom did have many great singers on his show back then.It would be amazing if he had a show again. I'd watch it!😊❤
Underrated
I'm sorry.Did I send you this song?I hope I did.This is one.Of my favorite girls.Aren't she sings it sope?I sent it right
There are 3 'Must-Have' Singles in ANY Record Collection - THIS is one of them. A Cornerstone of Music and Creativity ❤❤❤❤❤
Its obvious what thd song is about. Disgusting
I just know I love the song.
Love this Lady and this song.
I used to see Johnny Clarke walking around North London in 1982/3 and I was always totally star struck because I'd been a big fan of his since 1977. Definitely one of the coolest people I've ever seen in real life. Saw him live a few times too and he's a brilliant stand up.
Disgusting
I watched this live, it was really incredible and one of my favorite gigs I have ever been to. the following year I was at Glastonbury again, and I left on the sunday to drive home and they were playing bobby womack on the radio, he had passed away on the friday. it was a really emotional trip home. I am so grateful to have seen him live when I had the chance, a real legend
We didn't know wtf they were singing about; we just liked the song; that's it
Jacki Abbott.....flawless
Nice one for putting this up, mate....
Dusty was a hell raiser because she had principles ie didn't want to play to segregated crowds Wow. Also love the story of Dusty knocking out that POS Buddy Rich
I hate to admit it but i only knew about this song originally because of the Frankie says Relax tshirt
Those harmonies! 💣❤🔥🎆
Great presentation!😘
Bobby was talented but he was low down as hell .
Jean Paul Gaultiers Fashion Freakshow production summed this track up perfectly in the SM act. I worked a few of the tours of this tour and this act was amazing. If you can find it online...give it a watch!
Steve, I wish I could have personally told you that you've inspired me and many, many others with your pure vibrancy, energy and talent to ignite an audience with using the most basic means! R.I.P.
He is amazing 😊
This video ended too bluntly. Anyway, read Nashers self-titled book, it's great!
I was in London in the summer of ‘84, and the streets were packed with people mostly all wearing t-shirts with a quote from Relax or from Tina Turners tracks. Quite rad
Your T needing friend tonight
Almost a hit but wasn't.
The girl is nowhere as good as Jacqui. Poor choice for a replacement.
