I just recently concluded my Bsc program of physiology in Nigeria and would like to further into medicine in Italy. Does me having a Bsc in a medical course give me the advantage of starting from 3rd year or not doing preclinical and just going straight to clinicals? Is this possible?

Some universities, will assess your degree and if you are admitted they will exclude you from certain modules etc if they deem you have done it to an appropriate standard. However you are likely to have to do several of the pre-clinical subjects before moving to the upper years.

Hey, great content. Do undergraduates study 6 year to gain MD degree in italy and continue with residency? How does this system go in italy? Some say you can study 3 year of master and then continue with doctoral degree, then residency. quite confusing
Total 10- 15 years to become a doctor
In Italy, it's 6 years of med school (MD), then "specialization school", which ranges from 4-5 years depending on the specialty :)
