I loved it when you said standing in the breakfast nook room and looking into the living room is your favorite view. It is funny how we have those spots we love and find such comfort in our homes. You are so correct to PRESERVE this homes, especially when in such amazing condition. It warms my heart to see young couples see their beauty and preserve…. It breaks my heart to see landlords divide these homes up into apartments.

Yes, I am so grateful for this home. God knew exactly the perfect home for us and I'm so glad I waited on Him to provide it!
This reminds me of my grandfather's house. I lived there for a while when I was about five with my parent's and brother and sister's.
The house was built by a contactor as a wedding gift for his daughter. It was beautiful. It was a brick home with a slate roof. There was a fireplace in the living room. The wall paper and fixtures matched. The flooring was 3" thick oak. There was oak paneling in the dining room with stained glass windows. French doors. i could go on. So much thought was put into the home. He must have loved his daughter very much.
Awe, yes I can picture it! They really appreciated details back then and put 100% effort into things.
I watch your show almost everyday. You are living the life we had hoped to have but I’m 77 now I still have a lot of stuff that needs to be sold. I still go looking thru stuff and dig something out. I was searching fall decor and your video popped up. It is the first I have seen. I absolutely love your home with all the character. I love all the wood work, the arches, the nooks and the creaky floors! You have it decorated beautifully with all the vintage finds. I myself over the last few years have fallen in love with vintage and have put alot of it in my own home. I also had arches put in my home when we built it 11 years ago for the added charm. You are right, homes are not built like this any more and it is sad to see so many people renovate the old charm out of homes. Now on to watching some more of your videos!

Wow, I could go on for days about everything I love in your house. There isn't actually one thing I don't love, so I am so glad I found your channel. Your house is stunning and the way you've decorated it is so perfect. I'm glad you kept everything orginial and didn't paint that amazing wood! The layout and rooms are so nice with all the light and built ins. The super thick arches/walls make any house look so grand. So that, the windows in the living room, and the kitchen have to be in my top favorites. The laundry room feels so sunny and nice, and I love that they didn't scrimp on the windows in there. I could just imagine all of the air flowing through the house on nice days. I look forward to watching more of your video's and am definitely subscribing !

At first when id watch your videos, it would all be too much to watch because I guess I never saw such decorating talent. I'm getting adjusted to it now.
i love the mantle its so pretty and simple not overdecorated with heavy heavy garland...i also love those wheat bundles so gorgeous...i love the fact you do not overdo it, i see so many people do that and it looks too cluttered and busy. One tip though over your bed you have a big space and you have 2 tiny framed prints, that does not work if you have a big space use a big picture, the little prints are not large enough to look nice and space appropriate, other than that beautiful house!! the blue/white dishes so beautiful are those blue willow??? great job!! thanks for not doing a decorate with me I hate those, i love seeing the completed home tour..Good day!

Beautiful old home. I love the creaky floors :) This has got to be one of the best recordings for a home tour I have ever seen. Perfect timing, steady and really got to see things. Excellent job! This is the first video I have seen from you, I am going to pop over to your channel and check some of your other videos out. We don't have the same taste in decor however, you have some great pieces. I do love the way they used to lay the hardwood floors in some of these nicer old homes. I am a HUGE fan of trim and wainscoting and I have a ton of that in my home too!
