Every sound file pulled from one of countless streams, every sprite and splash art drawn, every line of code written, all of them were done with love and admiration.

most of them are the definition of: "the didn't had to do it but they did it anyway" by all the things. Just look how insanely cool are Holocure and Idol Showdown. I know there is some RPG made, but a proper JRPG with moving sprites and all. I had an idea i write in a Discord where everyone pitch an idea, and i went full extra mile on how i would do the JRPG, starting with doing it Ala Neptunia (either the Hyper Dimensional for 3d and combat base or the Super Dimentional RPG if is sprite base and combat base. And how the world is layer out), and make the story by episodes. Each one containing a gen or in ID case is all one story who is unlock between some chapters. You get to assemble your team outside the story portion (encourage by unlocking "collab" skills who can only been unlock by selecting certain talents in the group. I.e: assemble Shiraken or Usaken, Or Holotori) , but you're forced to finish a story to make it to the next characters. Some will act as NPCs too in a main area (that also includes Holostars too and they will had their own chapter aside), like Roberu on his bar, Aru running a pizzeria, Amelia's detective agency giving you hints and some quest jobs (Tempus Guild will be heavy quest related and act also like the "coliseum challenge" ala Tales of). Honestly the main idea is there but it will need a lot of work for bring something like this.

I do hope that the colab characters don’t mean that they won’t be playable, a way around this could be just disabling a colab character if you choose to play as them. I really want to see Miko play as herself
Collab and cosplay is because how much work goes into making a playable character. Sprites, moves, balance, etc. The devs want this to be a fighting game people actually play against each other online, so a lot of work has to go into each character. With like 75 talents (and counting) and even more if you count people like A-chan and Yagoo, that is years of work. There has only ever been 2 fighting games with a roster that big. The sad reality is, there is zero chance they make every talent playable, not unless Cover hires them to make this game officially.
