u can actually use AA missiles to take down AA misiles, true - especially them with heatseekers. Also u can use HAARMS against Ground to air missiles / radar ones to defend yourself...
u can guide ur missile againts any other missile however it requires in different aircraft different radar modes and time for hornet it is VS for tomcat tbh idk but they got radar mode to intercept missiles f16 has also that mode and f15e has aswell but much more precise, since those modes dont filter rcs or anything just incoming object with speed between x to x speed it will see anything however it will be your job to find which one is a missile and be fast enough to fire at it
I think Trackir 5 for regular displays and tobii if u are using a monitor roughly the size of TV. Personally I fly with a Canon EOS 12000D hooked up as a webcam, AITrack and opentrack, because it was the cheapest solution for me.

I've used an AIM-9 to shoot down incoming missiles before as well. I thought I had locked onto a bandit too
only works when you don't try it 😀
same, but happened much closer to my aircraft
Air to Air trophy system
used to do this stuff in vtol vr when i was a noob at evading
Well in vtol vr the missile is built to do that
@@aviationist1018 yea but each missile is pretty valuable so having to bring a few just to shoot others down can be a waste sometimes
@@ohmydog9171 yeah. I loved playing vtol vr though before my vr broke
