Great review Richard! Now we have General Motors selling it in the USA as a Buick Regal Sportback but they don't own Opel anymore and we all know how hatchbacks sell here......I'm old enough to have owned a Merkur Scorpio.

I had one of these as a hire car a few days ago and I loved it. I was especially shocked as I had a lower spec one a year before, which was AWFUL. This on the other hand was a top spec with loads of kit. Nice to drive, in fact drove like a small car, was loaded with kit, had a smooth auto gearbox and the ride was very good. My only criticism is that the lumbar support wasn't good. That aside, good car.

I've just had one as a hire car recently. Not a bad car per se but I felt that the clutch and steering was far too light for me, almost like it had a somewhat disconnected feel to it. Maybe that might be down to the fact that the car I own is a '14 Mazda 3 which does feel considerably different. Although I will say that I could happily appreciate all the additional gadgets and gizmos that the car had though.
Generally, not a bad car. Certainly for a Vauxhall anyway.

590l is pretty big (of a lie) it's 490l. For a very picky tipickal person you should do your job and "homework" proffesionaly... Btw. The car is very, very good and for the money best "bang for buck". 1.5 121Kw petrol is the pick!
