I did the exact same setup, that wheel and the sparco bracket with MR button for my horn, but i used the single sided bracket. I dig it, u know the wire is that long so u can turn the wheel lock to lock without pulling it out, if u shorten it up you're likely to have an issue imo, looks good tho
Suuuch a clean install man! Awesome walk thru man too. Superb job for not being a wiring guru haha I definitely had to have a buddy of mine help me thru my RB20 swap lol. I’d love to see some POV footage of you using the button sometime!
Did the button work better for you? I am having the same trouble that the 2 step on my vette isn’t helpful unless I dump the clutch. I really prefer not to on my launches though. I was imagining holding the button down through the initial launch and only releasing once I feel tires grip. Is that what you do on your launches? Thanks
Regarding the buttons and the black cable. What type of connector did you use on the back of the buttons? Its a piece of black that then turns into the cable. It looks strong and am kind of looking for something like that. Anyone who can help out?
I also can’t preload suspension with the clutch fully depressed. Being able to have it engage some will make it possible to load the suspension so that it doesn’t compress as hard off the line.
It was raising because you’re doing it with no load applied and the car being in neutral. If the tire doesn’t spin then the RPMs cannot raise in an instant. Also you tune the compression out of the suspension rather then trying to preload it. That big turbo isn’t going to spool up really fast especially if you’re trying to launch at low RPMs.
It was doing it when I was racing it at the track. Ryan I’m not an idiot, I was driving the car when it happened. Because I am on bags I have to mitigate the compression off the hit as much as possible. Even when I was only N/A it was compressing too much. What is wrong with having it on a button in the first place if that is my preference?
I hope everyone is doing well during these crazy times! Thank you for watching the video, more coming soon!!! 🤙🏼

Thanks for watching brother! Once it stops raining and I get the tune finalized I will be sure to do a video on that.

How did you setup the cruise control?

What those black hanging wires are called?
what happens when you turn the wheel like two times around? the wires goes around the column right?
This may be a dumb question but are you be able to turn the wheel completely to either side without the button cords getting caught?
yes he is able to
What the black wire called?
Why not just hook two step up to the clutch switch?

RPMs will only raise if you spin; you can still sleep the clutch when the 2-Step being switched on/off of the clutch signal.
As soon as the clutch pedal came off the floor it would raise the rpm’s.
moostang09 I usually just hold the throttle enough where it hits the two step. Not wot. I don’t personally have an issue slipping the clutch.
