In race and qualifying pace thats very true. Neverthenless i find it quite remarkable how a 20 year F1 car could keep up with a modern backmarker F1 car like an HRT. But i also imagine that if you give a 2012 F1 car a active suspension, traction control, a bigger rear wing and two different tyre manufactures (when there´s a tyre war, tyres become brutally faster), it would obliterate any old F1 car. Im not even mentioning double difuser and off throtle gases... I like this comparatives! :)
Not the only, the other would be buy Schumacher and sit him in some random Car. And the 3th one would be give to all other Drivers the same Car like Senna.
Buja Nunes in 92 Schumacher scored more points than senna because the mclaren was still the old one, but in 93 Senna had a oldest V8 than Schumacher and he beat him
Yeah, im familiar with that Adrian Newey´s prototype. I dont own a PS3 and never try to run that car in GT5, but sure is gorgeous to look at. It would be nice if someone someday could build a real true ultimate running F1 supercar. A car with no technical limitations and then putted against a "normal" actual F1 car and obliterate it on the track. :)
2012 F1 cars would be at least 10 seconds/lap faster with 1992 regulations. Search Redbull X1 prototype. This is how a racing car with no regulations would look like. It's 20-30 seconds/lap faster than an F1 car. It's able to push up to 8G. But no human being would be able to drive it to the limit.
This car was years ahead of any car at that moment.

I think you will find that the car Damon is testing is the 1993 FW15C not the 1992 FW14B, you can tell by the slimmer wheel base and tires.

The fuels in 1992 were so toxic that that the personnel had to wear gas masks when fueling the vehicle. Eventually, normal unleaded gas was mandated.
I really would like to see that car racing today against Red Bull, Ferrari and Mclaren !!
