this is not the 1996 williams renault, its from the 1994 season. first of all, the 96 didnt have this flowing, falling down nose. second, nigel drives with the number 2 of ayrton senna, because williams where on search for a substitude for senna. in 1996 williams had the numers 3 and 4 on their cars.

I hear also a lower frequency sound wich I believe is the gearbox... transmission... not the high revs engine sound . This was pretty noticeable in F1 at that period ,amazing car

This was a test at brands hatch, mid week, and all them people come to see Nigel, it was after Bernie ecclestone paid him I think £1million per race to make 3 guest appearances that year, after people stopped watching F1 after senna died earlier that year, I think it was France Spain and Australia which was his final win in F1, the cut out in the air box behind the driver was to reduce speeds after senna died !
Mansell can't develop a car? WTF do you think he did with the FW14B? And as for Tracey 'throwing it away' how does that detract from Mansell? If Indy drivers 'are as good as any other drivers' why did none of the others win when Tracey was a twat?
@Funkdogg Me too. They're in limbo at the moment, they can't push the car because it breaks, and they can't take it easy because it's too slow. Barrichello must be helping them a lot with feedback from the car, that's the only reason I can see him being there for, because he's just too slow now. Maldonado seems to be quite gifted but also impatient at times. Cosworth aren't the best anymore The car itself is uninspiring. There doesn't seem to be any passion in the team anymore :(

I am aware of the serious environmental problems we have around the world and the fact manufacturers can hardly only produce electric cars. But a race serie with 20 race cars with these engines wouldn’t harm the environment. So if there would still be a professional serie with these engines I would stop watching the current F1 and go back to my roots 😢
Its good to see this again, I remember that test at Brands well. I think a good few thousand turned up to see it. I don't agree that modern F1 is 'weak as piss'.

this test was on 1994, after Imola, am i right?
the test was a couple of months after imola, probably some time after the indy 500. this would of been his first time on the narrow slicks too.
